Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Tallahassee, Fl - Whole Foods - Brews and Bites fundraiser - poured from a can. Medium golden pour, nice soft white head. decent lacing. Aroma has some bready notes, a slight fruitiness. Flavor is somewhat bland, pick up some light caramel, a touch of muted citrus, some bready cake mix notes, Mouthfeel is slightly dry, Slightly underwhelmed with this one.

can from ian g., thanks man. pours cloudy dark golden orange with a small light beige head, some retention and lacing. spicy and grasssy caramel, hint of chocolate, powdery milk chocolate, lots of c’s - pine and citrus, fruitiness. moderate carbonation, light body, nice citrusy-spicy-piney finish. balanced. not quite my type but i enjoyed the fact that chocolate took more place than caramel. still not an hipster though - please mind my glasses.

35,5cl can from Vinmonopolet Vika. Pours almost clear deep golden to amber with a lasting white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with tropical fruits, pine, citrus, malt and hints of caramel and herbs. Somewhat sweet and quite fruity with a pleasantly citric and bitter finish. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Nice APA.

Can at Cock & Bowl, served to me by someone who qualifies as a legitimate hipster. Poured an amber-orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, light grapefruit notes, with a nice balance of sweet malts. Flavor was light citrus notes coupled with a nice malt character to it. Drinkable!

Hazy amber beer with a tidy off white head. Palate is light and crispy. Mild minerals. Great hops - fresh orange, orange peel and tangerine. Lesser pine and tropical fruits. Finishes crisp with the hops becoming grassy. Great!

Can from Proof. Orange pour with good sized white head and soapy stick. Aroma is caramel malt, floral, bready. Tastes are sweet fruit up front then floral bitter. lemon, bread, pine. Little herbal. Slight tartness in the long bitter finish. Grew on me, though not sure it’s regular sixer material.
