Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Can. Pour is murky blonde with a frothy head, aroma is fruity, pine, resin. Taste is fruity, sweet, sticky, resin, powerful bitterness that leads to a wonderfully astringent finish. I want more of this

Gift from Naga. 12oz can poured into a an English tulip pint. Nice hazy gold color with a huge, soapy eggshell head. Slight amount of lacing and thin head throughout. Huge bouquet of pine needles, resin, floral and a bit of citrus on the nose. Big resin taste with a slight pineapple taste on initial contact. Medium carbonation with a watery mouthfeel. Dry resin flavor on the finish but the tail end has a slight hassaku (a kind of Japanese sour/bitter orange) character. Lasting bitter finish. Solid APA but the resin/pine taste is too overwhelming.

Color : classical pale ale style amber, aromas are piny, resin, citrus, flavor is the same with some malt, mouthfeel is quite normal with some malt sweetness, it’s a little bit to much on the piny side

12oz can that poured a golden yellow color with nice off white head. The aroma is medium malts and hops citrus and some floral. The flavor goes with the nose. This was a little warm so got a richer malt flavor and the hops on top of that. Pretty solid all the way around.

5.5% it pours a deep gold with a thick fluffy off-white head. It’s got a really great floral hop bouquet with a sweet biscuity malt backbone. Wow, the taste is surprisingly bitter like sucking on a citrus rind. It is a bit pithy with a chalky herbal/floral quality and substantial sweetness in the finish. Not complex but a solid pale ale.
