Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Very hoppy pale. Great orange color. Grainy good. Creamy and very enjoyable to drink. Excellent bitterness is prominent. Smooth nice body. Minimal sweetness if any. This is a great beer. Vacation in a can. Water, hops, malt, yeast.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a dark orange with loads of suspendec xhunkies floating around. Aroma of citrus with a little peach or apricot. . Taste is light bitter. Pine with some citrus. Medium bodied with a relatively thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long, lasting finish. Overall, pretty good. I would drink it again.

Can from Good Bottle Company. This is an above average pale ale. It pours orange with some haze to it and a tall white head. Aroma is hoppy and sticky with resinous pine and citrus. There is that lozenge thing going on with the body and plenty of clean hops for balance. It’s reminiscent of Dale’s. Really nice pale ale, but at $4 a can, I’m not sure how often I could bring myself to purchase it considering how many other pale ales are handy.

Cloudy Orange, Dark beige head. Big citrusy aroma, with a lot of grapefruit notes. Lots of citrus in the flavor, as well, with a lot of caramel malts, as well. Decent sticky, piney finish.

Good session ale for hipsters. Nonetheless it’s not the kind of beer that inspires me to get a Hitler-youth haircut, listen to whiny indy rock and wear tight jeans. On the other hand, hipsters would be a little more bearable if they drank this instead of PBR. Pours clear orange with ironic foam and new-age lacing. High treble hops, though the overall feel screams of middle-class white kid angst. Carbonation doesn’t make too much hype, texture is vintage creamy. The taste of malt is certainly too cool for me, but now that the beer has 122ratings I’m sure it will become passé soon enough. I would say it’s ok, but then, like, I don’t have a strong opinion about anything. Enjoyed in a can covered in what appears to be nouveau art. Bloody hipsters.

Can 12fl.oz. @ home.

Unclear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, citrus zest, tropical fruit, light mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, thin, watery, hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130226]

Amber with one finger head. Funky looking suspended particles. Smells of citrus piney hops and apricots. Tastes of strong hops but not overbearing. Buttery resinous feel and flavor. Also slightly mapley and orangey.
