Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky burnt orange color with a large white head. The aroma is hop, citrus and some pine. The taste is citrus and a hint of wood. The brew has a nice hop bitterness finish.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild citrus and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

355mL can from Booze Bud. BB13515? Clear golden body, foamy white head. Moderate intensity aroma - caramel, toasty malts, touch of hop citrus & melon fruits. Full body, kinda chewy malt texture, moderate carbonation. Caramelly biscuit malts provide decent sweetness upfront, combining with bitter orange & stonefruit. Solid bitterness, smooth finish. Pretty good.

Pour is a deep yellow, still and no read head. Small is slightly bittered up hop and a nice vague sweetness. Taste is nice and bitter, not too bad, very balance like a true american. Actually taste more like a lager than a pale ale. Sorta has that pilsner like presence
