Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

355 ml can. Hazy golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is citric fruity with some caramel malt, aroma feels a bit volatile. Flavor is smooth, mild caramel malt with citric fruit and medium bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste, quite balanced. Nice and easy refresher, nothing memorable really.

Can. Aroma of stale bread and a hint of toast and bread crust. A light grassy note of hops. Taste is stale malt, light oxidation and paper, stale hops that are all grassy. Bitter almost astringent finish. Pretty mediocre if I’m being nice.

This is great, but it has to be on vinyl for you to truly appreciate it. Oh wait, that’s the wrong hipster thing. Don’t pour this on vinyl. Pour it into a tulip glass. Then you can appreciate the copper-orange color and rocky head. Take in the citrusy, earthy aromas. Flavors bring out quite a lot of crisp, bitterness. Go ahead. Tie up your man bun. Grow out your beard. Do all of those hipster things. Avoid the mainstream and drink this beer, ya damn hipster fool.

33 cl från min julkalender. En helt ok öl med fin beska. Sambon gillade den inte.

Bright orange/amber with a frothy cream colored head. Nose is fresh hops, citrus, earth, light florals, and bitter. Smooth palate, not an overwhelmingly hop forward Pale, florals, bitter finish, juicy, just a solid Pale Ale.

Can from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Amber body. Big, foamy and bubbly, slightly orange head. Citrus, caramel and malt nose. Citrus, light orange, some caramel and malt flavour. Some bitterness. Hint of sweet taste. Medium to thin body. Medium carbonation.

Pour from a motley 12oz can. Hary amber brew with one finger of creamy off white head. Nice aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, a bit of resin. Taste is light malt up front with a hops forward tropical fruit and citrus, a bit of resin emerges at the finish. Light agile and dry. Nice.

Taken so long to try but really enjoying. Nice and earthy on the nose, very well balanced bitterness to follow. The packaging on the cans is pretty cool too.
