Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

CAn. Murky dark gold pour, big off-white head. Decent retention/lace. Aroma of citrus, grassy hop, light cheese, light toffee/caramel. Taste is moderately bitter, cheesy/citrus hop, caramel, mineral. Palate is drier, average carbonation, bitter finish. Probably not a fresh sample.

Love the murky golden pour w/ a big fluffy white head that leaves a ton of lacing! The aroma is a bold in your face hop smell. The taste is actually a little too strong & hoppy for me. It finishes pretty dry & bitter & not all that pleasant on the palate. A bit disappointing!

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy dark amber color with a large creamy-soapy orange white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet pine, fruity hops, toffee, grapefruit and was almost vegetal. The flavor was dryish and very bitter with fairly strong grapefruit, moderate floral hops and a bit of resin with touches of sour caramel and bread underneath. Long bitter grapefruit and resin finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Lighter up front grapefruit pith background. Light and pretty cheap only 3$ a can at the bar.

Poured from can to glass. Light copper hue with nice white head. Aroma is citrus, orange, mango, fir, light caramel, straw. Mouthfeel is great with a medium light body and good carbonation that helps it to be refreshing. Taste is dry sweetness initially with a bitter following and a metallic astringent ness in the finish. Overall this is a decent ale.

Canned Sept 2013. Not a huge fan, maybe it was old. Heavy on the earthy malty, dirty. Bad aftertaste. This beer got good reviews, and i would like to taste it fresh, but the can I got was too roasty toasty for me. meeh. Disappointing.

Rich amber and light brown coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright hops, light cereal maltiness and some grain noticeable, all with a bit of yeast and a touch of sweetness. Medium-bodied; Strong balance of hops and malt with the hops slightly overtaking the flavours and a little subdued spices and bitterness at the end. Aftertaste shows a relatively smooth-drinking APA with a bit of pine and resin at the end, but relatively simplex. Overall, a nice APA as expected and a solid offering - nice for the can, as well! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom - I St) DC on 14-September-2013 for US$1.99 sampled on the train to New York on 31-October-2013.

Slightly hazy golden under a thick foamy white head. Nose is quite leafy and resinous with a touch of earthy funk and some clean and sweet pale grains, with a touch of boozy hop ester. The flavor is crisp yet large and bold. Clean sweet pale grain flavors lead to a sharp grassy/piney hop tone, some leafiness and light-mild acidity, forming into a semi-bold acidity with a little citrus rind resin. Not bad, a little sharp, but flavorful.

12oz can in Seattle. Hazy gold with nice foamy head. Fresh tasty aroma, quite crisp hops and golden malts. Sweet green hop and then a tart, growing bitter. Very tasty, I wish all cans of beer were just like this. Dry hop bitter finish, floral hop perfume. Tasty
