COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is vague grapefruit hops with just a touch of fresh pine. Flavor is very clean pine hops without the resin stickiness I sometimes expect. Clean, slight caramel malt in the finish. Very refreshing and light while fairly hopped. Wife: 3.6

355 ml can from Kvadrat, rated at home. Sparkling clear deep golden body with a dense tanned inch thick head leaving excellent lacing. Sprucy and light meaty hops and light rock sugar on the nose. Sweet flavors are quickly followed by a somewhat stale bitterness that quickly dominate the palate. Medium bodied beer that drinks smoothly leaving the tongue bone dry.

Knotty hop and grapefruit aroma. Golden yellow color, leaves some lace. Big citrus taste, highly bitter. Starts crisp and finishes soft. I don’t have any smart ass remarks because I’m not actually a...oh, wait.

12oz can. Pours a hazy light amber with a huge frothy head. Big hop aroma. Taste is closer to an IPA than a pale. Flower hops, citrus, slightly soapy.

Can at Mikkeller SF. Amber/orange, decent white head. Grapefruit and pine dominate aroma. Zesty grapefruit and sticky pine take the lead, slightly nutty caramel malt in there to balance. Lingering grapefruit and dulled caramel. Pretty decent APA, better than a can of fanta.

Caramely, resinous, big malt backbone, but also a very prominent hoppiness, hazy copper colour, medium head. Mid-sweet, big bite.

$2.50 can, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small, soft white head. Smells of light sourness and minimal hops - very light aroma. Taste is slight fruit - apricot maybe? Lots of hops and little other flavor. Soapy?

Pours a clear golden orange from the can with fluffy cream head that leaves light lace. Aroma of citrus hops, bready grain, and slight sweetness. Taste follows, nothing special, but nice and easy to drink.
