Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

355 ml can. Pours a cloudy orange golden with a resilient white head. Aroma is fruits, grapefruit, bitterness. Flavor is fruity as hell, orange, mango, passionfruit, pepper. Finish is grapefruit, lime, good bitter punch! Lingering fruits...light to medium body, smooth mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very solid pale ale.

Pours a hazy pale orange, white head. Aroma is stale hop, bread, grass, earth, musty citrus. Flavor is pretty bitter and earthy. Mediocre

Love the aroma, citrus with some balance of onion maybe? Wonderful head, sticks around for awhile. Straw appearance. Quite bitter without really being hoppy which seems weird. If you want the definition of funk, this is it.

330ml can (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Stinky stanky aroma, ugh, pungent, onion and other savoury aspects. The full APA experience cranked up to brewing-flaws-11. Hazy orange, small head. Yuck, it’s even worse in the mouth but that’s because in close up there’s even more onion in the aroma. Full palate, but there’s a horrible artificial-sweeterner chemical bitterness. Tongue-scrapingly unpleasant. Possibly one of the most unpleasant APAs I’ve ever experienced.

Medium aroma with tropical fruits and hint of malts. Pale golden/yellow with lightly hazy liquid. Small/medium, white head. Medium taste with fruits, pine and lot of hops. Some bitterness. Not so balanced. Medium/narrow taste spectrum and long fruity and hoppy aftertaste. Light/medium palate with medium/high carbonation. Overall like hipster: something fresh but after all a bit lame.

355 ml can. Hazy orange colour, thick white head, nice lacing. Sweetish aroma of tropical fruits, notes of citrus and pine. The flavour is tropcal fruity, malty, with pine notes and a bitter grapefruity finish. Tasty.

Pint poured on draft. Slight citrus aroma, great appearance. Had a fluffy white head that dissapates rapidly. Light yellow-gold color. Taste was a little dissapointing, not as citrusy as I was expecting.

33 cl can from local monopoly (Alko) for a astounding 5,35€ price. But it was good. Great looks for a pale ale and rich open nose with lots of hops. Tight, slightly bitter palate with well presented flavors. Just bit short, but really good for a style. Still too pricey.

The head is good, orange and cloudy. It smells fruity, refreshing, sweet, malty. The taste is bitter, bit fruity, hoppy, bit unbalanced, but still good!

Can from drinkstore. Drank straight from can so no appearance. Citrus, peach nose. Nice biscuit malt with a sweet citrus malt with citrus finish. Not much bitterness. Nice.
