3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Scopey (3239) - Croydon, Greater London, - FEB 2, 2013Can from Olbutikken. It pours hazy golden amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is tangy orange, grapefruit, hopsack and floral notes. The taste is assertively bitter, pine, leaf, resinous, some astringency and some citrus with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice level of bitterness. Pretty decent.

Golden color. Interesting smell. Light bitter taste. More hop than a typical pale ale.

Can shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy yellowish orange. Hoppy aroma, slightly stale, with flowers and citrus. Flavor has light maltiness, floral hops, a bit stale, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Pretty easy-drinking.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Davros (1473) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 13, 2013
Pours amber with a fading head.
Nose shows orange marmalade, bready malt, sweet caramel. Pretty malty stuff.
Very hoppy flavours, but there’s a lot of malt to back it up. Orange marmalade, pine, resinous notes, clean sweet malt.
Needs more carbonation.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mixmasterob (829) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Can from CBX. Clear golden pour with a frothy white head. Big hop driven aroma full of pine and citrus. Big floral hop notes from top to bottom. Citrus and pine for days. A touch of spice in there too. Lighter body with nice carbonation. Very nice. Being brewed at Westbrook is a big plus for this one.

I’ve been wanting to try this beer for months, and at 15.99 for a six pack, it was a bit out of my price range (as most ET stuff seems to be) but I located a single can for sale for a mere $3 at Lush in West Town, Chicago. Happy, joy joy.
This beer is an homage to grapefruit, and what citrus can do for your pale ale. The design of the can was truly eye catching, and while I did enjoy this beer immensely, charging about twenty bucks for six cans of this stuff seems rather silly. Would get again, if only in a single serving.

Canned. Poured I have no idea. Maltiness and hoppiness, trying to think of a parallel. Maybe six point brownstone.

From the can at mane liquor. Sexy deep orange pour with a small disappearing head. Nose is dominated by grapefruit, tropical fruits and sweet malts. Taste is super juicy with loads of caramel malt accommodating the tropical fruit hop bitterness. So sessionable. Awesome beer from the can! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not the hoppiest.
4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 HopRedHead (118) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2013
Can from Mane Liquor. Despite finding myself turning the can so the title faces the inside of my hand, this beer is amazing. Pours a deep opaque orange with creamy 3cm of head. Huge tropical punchbowl aroma with a slightly resinous edge and a malty sweetness. Taste delivers similar tropical flavours with caramel malt coming out on the back. Balanced would be an understatement. Sits so well on the tongue, nice juicy body with a great bitterness. Shame about the price, I could see myself drinking plenty of these.
