this beer had great hop aroma and taste. as an admitted hop head the aroma of sweet pine gave me a good promise. the initial hop bite subsided into a copper/metallic bite. beyond that the taste was crisp and relatively clean, this is a beer worth seeking out. very delicious. and a pretty hip package as well. i hate hipsters. the name of this beer makes me sad.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Drank from can so no real appearance notes; off-white creamy head poked out the top tho. Aroma is caramel and pine; old? I see a set of odd numbers and letters near the UPS, but no translator, so be it. Flavor is much the same, pine, caramel, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Meh.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at CPK. A dark murky yellow, hazy, still, big white head. Aroma of grass and caramel. Body is medium to light, foamy, low-ish carbonation. Taste - slightly sour caramel, lemon, straw, very musy, a little metal. OK. I can sense that the coldness really helps this beer.

Can from low buy Lilydale nice floral aroma golden in colour with white head taste is a bit off too bitter but after peeling of the northern craft beer movement sticker I see that it’s 12 months old.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12 ounce can. This is a solid, middle of the road apa. Well balanced hop and malt character. Medium bodied. Refreshing and easy to drink. I wouldn't seek this one out, but it's a decent choice when there's a barren draft list.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bärnstensfärgad med en skumkrona som ligger kvar. Doftar citrus och något mer som jag kan relatera till något just nu. Stor smak av humle och beska som ligger länge i gommen.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Amber with three finger head. Much better than the Williamsburg variant. Hops are relatively mild, but flavorful, and not too bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy amber, moderate to large head, good lace/retention. Aroma is tropical fruit, yeast, citrus, light caramel. Medium to light body, moderate bitterness. Strong yeast (think golden ale) flavor dominates with notes of tropical fruit. Interesting take.
