The head is good, orange and cloudy. It smells fruity, refreshing, sweet, malty. The taste is bitter, bit fruity, hoppy, bit unbalanced, but still good!

12 oz can from BOTW (Rochester), served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy deep golden with a full off-white head. Aroma: Starts with caramel and melanoidin maltiness, a touch brothy, bright citrus hops. Palate: Medium+ body, moderate, smooth carbonation. Flav.: Fairly malty with some nice citrus and resin hops, a bit brothy still; dry with decent bitterness and a fairly malty finish.

The hipsters can keep this one.

Taste is medium fruity and medium bitter. Notes of gingerbread, grapefruit and ripe apricots. Finishes medium bitter and slightly zingy with lemony notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Tasty.

355ml can from Vinmonopolet. Medium off-white head with a lot of large bubbles. Fades quickly. Clear pale orange body. Aroma is malty. Tropical fruits, citrus-like hops. More bitter on the tongue, but mostly sweet. Short bitter aftertaste. A little watery.

Orange yellow looks with thin head but lots of lacing. Aroma has tropical fruits and berries with slight citrus notes. Taste has sweet tropical fruits, berries, citrus and some bitterness. Medium body with medium carbonation. A sweet tropical APA, decent brew.

Pours golden with nice 2-finger head that gradually subsides. Good lacing. Nice and clear. Nice looking, resounding pale ale. Heavily malty on the nose. Lots of caramel malt. Some herbal notes and a hint of tropical fruits. Perhaps the hop-character would be more pronounced if this was fresher (3 months old). Initially sweet, juicy fruits. Some peach, orange. Burnt-caramel malt (a little toasty). Very fiery, punch bitter, crisp finish. Bitterness evolves and becomes a little soapy - which is unfortunate. Enjoyed it in spite of all of its character flaws. Bold beer.
