Amber with one finger head. Funky looking suspended particles. Smells of citrus piney hops and apricots. Tastes of strong hops but not overbearing. Buttery resinous feel and flavor. Also slightly mapley and orangey.

Pours golden with nice 2-finger head that gradually subsides. Good lacing. Nice and clear. Nice looking, resounding pale ale. Heavily malty on the nose. Lots of caramel malt. Some herbal notes and a hint of tropical fruits. Perhaps the hop-character would be more pronounced if this was fresher (3 months old). Initially sweet, juicy fruits. Some peach, orange. Burnt-caramel malt (a little toasty). Very fiery, punch bitter, crisp finish. Bitterness evolves and becomes a little soapy - which is unfortunate. Enjoyed it in spite of all of its character flaws. Bold beer.

Light yellow appearance, with foam. The taste of the beer is bitter, full-bodied and dry. In the aroma you find a little bit of young bitterness. Overall the beer gives a full-bodied taste and in the end it dries your mouth totally.

On tap @ 10 East I couldn’t help but think about Clash while enjoying this beer. A beer named after something so near and dear to him. This was a decent APA no matter what it’s called. The aroma was a little weak for an APA. Fruity with some light herbal/citrus notes...a little too light. The flavor is fine with a noticeable hop content, there is some malt base there but it is a hop-forward APA which is fine with me. Very clean, and pretty tasty.

Can. Hazed amber with a fine off-white head. Hoppy nose of resin and fruit, malt and yeast come across as nutty pound cake and cake frosting and there’s a good amount of ambient banana bubble gum ester. Medium body, sugary with substantial bitterness, nutty in the way of Chinook hops, a little vitamin-like in the nose as it opens and to me there’s a touch of butter in the finish. This is IPA more than pale ale.

Can at Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Pours cloudy amber with a little white head. The aroma features citrus fruitiness, pale maltiness and a touch of pine. Taste is dry and medium to heavy bitter – very hoppy, that is. Citrus is the dominant flavour but some maltier nuances appear too. The palate is medium bodied, slick and moderately carbonated. Trendy, hoppy APA all in all.

Pours a clear orange with a minimal white head. Fruity aroma with some earthy hops but not pungent. Flavor is tame and not impressive. A safe APA and an easy drinker, but forgettable.

Golden color, thick foamy head - kinda goofy. Some tropical fruit aroma. Taste is pine and citrus rind hops and some malt - not quite balanced, but close. Good, but not quite a favorite for me.

Golden body, medium head. Hoppy, modern but not too fresh and flower. More pine. Nice body, quite active carbonation making it refreshing to drink. Just only bitter enough though. It’s nice and modern without any fuss. (33cl can from Saveur Bière)

Hazy orange color with a medium white head. Orange citrus on the nose and a yeasty bitter flavor with some citric hop notes. Medium palate
