Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, Copenhagen then Södermalm, Stockholm followed by Williamsburg, New York and Shoreditch, London accompanied by Trastevere, Rome & last El Raval, Barcelona. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without borders’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!

Pours amber in color with an off-white head. Nose is decently hoppy with some citrus and floral aromas. Some light tropical fruits, a bit of toast, and quite a bit of bread. Bitter citrus peel and light pine. A decent amount of toasted malt and bread, some light pineapple flavor, grapefruit, and floral hops. Pretty decent pale ale, but at $4 a pop, not a repeat.

Oranges confites, verdure amérisante et céréales mielleuses. Elle est un peu défraichie mais je percois le spectre de son potentiel.

Can. Pours a hazy copper color with a big head and ample lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, quite floral with bit of malt sweetness. Taste of graprfruit, fruit, with some malt sweetness and bit of grain. Good bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, crisp, clean and well balanced. Very enjoyabe beer, good example of the style. Worth checking out.

Happy beer with a bitter finish. Smells a little wheaty and ours orange in color with a white head. Had at fountainhead. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can. Floral, fruity, herbal aroma is quite pleasant and likable. Scents of apricot, peach, lemon, watermelon, and corn muffin. I grant the aroma a strong 7 in score. Pours a mostly clear (but with some haze), dark gold with some effervescence and a large amount of taupe head. Produces good lacing. Good looking beer, but I’ve seen a lot of beers that look like it. Dry, meaty, floral, hoppy taste features flavors of minerals and lemon peel. Bready and a touch briny taste. Alcohol noticeable in the flavor, surprisingly at this low alcohol content. Dry aftertaste. Lively in the palate. Light to medium body. Upon early sips, I considered this an above average American Pale Ale. Eventually, however, I began to find the hops mix off-putting.

Pours a slightly cloudy light orange with about a finger of stark white, lingering head. Some mild dark fruit in the odor, with a flavor that’s got a nice combination of brown sugar and a tiny bit of burnt toast ending in a nice bitter aftertaste.

Can@a barnyard party. Pretty nice us pale ale. Had citrus, pines, good caramel. Too drunk to remember much more. But was awesome from the can. And made me feel hip, as evrry1 else is drinking bulk piss.

Can from Beermoth, drunk at Manchester Piccadilly waiting for a train. Sprightly, zesty pale with lots of fruity resin, pine needles and hoppy bitterness. Lots of complex pale flavours, vibrant colourful taste. Excellent pale and a perfect ’bored-in-a-train-station’ beer.

An orange amber body with a nice white head that had good retention. Sweet caramel malts and mostly grapefruit hops. Just enough of a pine hop note to balance out the grapefruit notes. Mostly sweet malts and the hops were bitter enough to balance out the grapefruit flavors. Some mild toast in the finish. Slightly high carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink.
