Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and a little dry with fine carbonation. Big bold honey! The most honeyish honey beer Iíve drank. There is a little dry bitter citrus underneath but this beer really is all about the rich honey. The beer equivalent of sticking your finger in a jar of honey. Pooh Bear would get wasted on this!

Bottle shared at CPK, London - many thanks to Jack for some saison! Pours cloudy orange with a tight, white cream head. Rich honey nose with some white bread poking through. Medium sweet flavor with good but not too heavy honey character, and some fine citrus. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, lightly bitter, with more pleasant honey. Not cloying. Nice.

Bottle. Clear deep golden beer with a nice offwhite head that leaves a bit too fast. Aroma brings honey and perfume, bread, hay and metal notes, woody, yeasty, esters, banana notes, a bit floral. Honey flavor, perfume, sweetish and also sharp bitter, banana notes, metal, hay, floral, herbal notes. The honey is kinda interesting in a beer like this, but it could have been held down just a little.

Bottle. A big, off-white head forms over a lighlty unclear, golden body. The aroma is quite grainy, with fruityness and honey. Not very pleasant I think. Not bad, uninteresting is probably a more correct word. Semi-sweet flavor with honey, some spices and heather. Quite yeasty. Some bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation and and a bit too much sweetness. Most definitely not my kind of saison, and too yeasty as well. 131116
