Amber ale?? Really?? Not an strieght up IPA?? Ok sure what ever. Shyt be awsome for an amber (wink, wink it’s an amber not a IPA) Massive hop nose, gum, malty, and all that jazz. Gin and tonic is the shit......its the IPA of high balls. So drinkable!!! Kind of sweet, big bitter lingers. Hops just destroy the flavour if you try really hard you can kind of hit a choco malt. Hops are good, Gin is awsome, this is not an amber.

A very nice near IPA. The amber malts are paired well with the citric acidity of the hops.

12oz bottle. Dark red/copper color. Aroma is malt and pine hops. Taste could be better balanced, as pine hops dominate some citrus and some malt sweetness. Still, it’s quite pleasant. I swear there’s some rye in there based on the spiciness. A very good beer, definitely a sipper due to the intensity of the pine hops.

Bottle. Red amber pour with three fingers of thick creamy head. Hoppy aroma, malty sweetness, some pine, some citrus this does not smell like a dull amber. Taste, lots of hops, but not overbearing, some malty sweetness, some lemon citrus, and a crisp clean finish that is not overly bitter. Overall, its not your typical amber but good lord this is tasty, loaded with flavour and very refreshing, I could drink a lot of this on a nice summer night.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Mother Kellys London. Clear mahogany colour lasting dark beige head. Amber malts give balance and a little sweetness to the big hops. I’ve always liked this American Amber style of beer. Some light coffee in the malt. Decent bitterness on the finish. Maybe not super fresh here and I can imagine fresh its amazing. Certainly bitter and hoppy balanced with some good malt. Just a little oxidised by the journey maybe. Good hop burp on the finish.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a dark amber with an average size lasting frothy beige head. Some lacing. Nice catty, hempy aroma, resiny, citrusy and spicy as well, along with bready malt, light alcohol, some fruit, grain and light vegetal notes. Hoppy flavour along with caramel malt, some alcohol, grain and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Didn’t blow me away but pretty good.
