“When I copied the famous Even More Jesus, I had to ask myself as an artist, why am I doing this? I didn’t honestly know. It was just an instinct about beer as pure form… in a sense this stout is like a metaphor for freedom - the sum of all the beauty that surrounds me and my perfect contemporary existence.”

A beer this big is too sweet and delicious not to like. Black color with essentially no head. Big and sweet, kind of one dimensional, would do well barrel aged. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to furthur: Poured a dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is a sweet boozy roasted mess. Taste is super hot alcohol with sweet molasses, roasted malt and some peat.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fusel alcohol with some residual sugar and light roasted malt is mildly intriguing. Taste is dominated by way to much fusel alcohol for my own taste with loads of residual sugars and light black chocolate and roasted malt notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with medium carbonation and loads of alcohol being apparent. Unbalanced mess with way to much alcohol and residual sugar apparent.

Draft. Aroma is dry, dark malt. Appearance is black with tan head. Taste is a very sweet dark currant than rolls into dark malt. Palate is sweet and dry. Overall, a great stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle. Black with small beige head. Marzipan, chocolate, sweet herb candies, very sugary, some cognac notes, roasted bitter coffee, strawberry jam, Italian herbs. Very sweet with light roasted bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with quite some booze. Nice stuff, but very sweet and boozy without the matching thick body or strong aroma. Still nice though.

Thick black, quite dark tan weak head which almost immediately turns to only a ring. Aroma is of dark fruits, licorice, walnut, chocolate and roasted malts, sweet. Taste is quite sweet, follows the nose with dark fruits, walnut liqueur, molasses and more pronounced chocolate and roasty notes. Bitter roasted dryish finish. Full bodied, thick, low carbonation. Alcohol heat present and alcohol is somewhat noticable.

17.05.2015, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is neutral, unripe banana, harsh dark malts, grass, oak, weeds, dark sugar. Taste is sweet and harsh boozy, dark sugar, booze, harsh grass, oak, unripe banana, metal tank, even more sugar, weeds, unripe banana. Medium bitterness, sweet boozy mouthfeel. I’d rather call this one "I hate you with my stout".....almost makes me want to throw up. Drainpour!
