COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“When I copied the famous Even More Jesus, I had to ask myself as an artist, why am I doing this? I didn’t honestly know. It was just an instinct about beer as pure form… in a sense this stout is like a metaphor for freedom - the sum of all the beauty that surrounds me and my perfect contemporary existence.”

Bottle pour opaque black with 2 fingers tan head. Nose lots of green apple, some chocolate, and sweet malt. More fruit than roast. Taste again with the apple, some milk chocolate, some booze. Late palate some light bitterness. Similar flavors through the finish.

It’s an awesome beer in overall. Great coffee aroma, super bitterness in taste. Nice look and mouth feel. Almost perfect one, but almost!

Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Slightly milky malt nose. Palate is a little viscous but also fairly airy. Sweetish dark malts with contrasting bitter dark chocolate and a trace of Camp coffee that gets stronger. Mild dark fruits. A little spice before a semi dry finish. A bit chewy and some of the flavour jar against each other, but okay.

bottle from beergeek in prague. jet black with a minimal head; aroma of licorice, cocoa, soy, tar; loads of flavour - terriyaki sauce, neapolitan ice cream, burnt caramel, melted asphalt; good whack of bitterness with some lingering alcohol afterburn

Bottle from Cool Wine 170415. Cracker of a big bad ass beer this one. From the thick black colour and light brown foam to the roasted malt aromas and big thick mouthfeel this beer oozes goodness. The finish goes on and on and on. Big alcohol content means that you have to take your time and sip this beer slowly which gives plenty of time to savour and enjoy the rich bold flavour.

pours unclear very dark brown with a very nice crema cap, good retention and lacing. sweet roasted berries - cherries, perfumey and peppery pine booziness, roasted raisins, semi-dry molasses, umami hints. light carbonation, medium body - oily - somewhat seems achieved by residual sugars only; harsh boozy and spicy-piney finish. weak. nah.

Beer tasting@Svijet piva, Zagreb. 0.33 bottle shared with Niko. Tasted this after the great Xmas Eve in NYC Hotel Room so I was under some impression of the last one. Pitch black with tan brown head, went away quickly. This one is different - aroma of strawberry jam, red fruits, chocolate and some smoke. Sweet and alcoholic. Stronger than the other imperial porter, long lasting finish. Full chocolaty taste, thick body. Excellent, but I preferred the Xmas Eve better.
