A slightly different version of the Imp Biscotti Break I am now accustomed to, the chili flavor comes through much more than the hazelnut but isn’t overwhelming. Bottles at Festival 2013.

22 ounce bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and spice. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, chilies, coffee, and vanilla. Didn’t find hazelnuts. Excellent.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2014 Bottle shared by Mike T. Thanks buddy! Near black body with an inch of beige head. Complex aroma, offering chocolate, roast, chilis, spice, mild heat, vanilla, wood, almonds. Equally complex flavor, with everything in the aroma shining through. A delicious beverage. Well balanced and easy to drink, despite the double digit abv. Winner.

This was an extra from KornWallace - mega thanks for this! Pours with a fizzing brown head which disappears once the beer settles in the glass. Aroma is roast, nuts and raisins. Taste is chili hotness at first, the hazelnuts are subtly noticeable afterwards, then leads off to chocolate and roast notes. Finish is warming from the chillies. Medium bodied.

Bomber, thanks paul. Thick black pour. Chocolate, fudge, pepper spices but no real heat. Thick chewy almost bourbon county mouthfeel. Damn good stuff.

Growler... This beer rocks!… Pours nearly black with no head. The bouquet is an opulent swirl of dark brownies, toasted pistachios, almonds, cinnamon and vanilla. Full-bodied and velvety with only a remnant of carbonation. The flavor offers a delicious medley of hazelnuts, bittersweet espresso, brownie brittle and vanilla. Luxuriant, chewy, hearty finish. Major props to landhoney for popping the top on this world class brew!

This one poured an inky black color with a beige head. Aroma was of roasted malts, some dark chocolate, and light hazlenut. Falvor was similar, hazlenut is not there much, rpetty ashy, and the chile heat hits barely in the swallow.

Bottle shared thanks to beerman6686. Poured dark dark brown with slight head. Aroma of choc coffee hazelnut. Not getting any spice. Light carb med bod. Odd taste prefer reg biscotti.
