Inky black pour with a thin, creamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, toast, roasted nuts, caramel, lots of char and smoky old campfire, just a hint of sweet berries. Flavor is sweet chocolate up front, lots of char, some sweet cherries, coffee, dark caramel, light piney hops and a slightly stronger hint of cherries to the finish. Honestly if the description didnít mention cherries, I may not have picked them up. Heavy body, creamy to chewy feel and medium strength slightly sharp carbonation. Really good overall, but they didnít do the base beer any favors with the cherries or whatever they did. I will admit as the beer warms the cherries come out a little more and add a little more positively to the beer, but still not enough to redeem it compared to the base beer.

Bomber via PUBíR. Pours thick black with less head than your ex-wife and a nose of huge tart cherry, cacao, lactose. Tastes of bready malt, cacao, lactic acid, with chocolate milk. . Finishes cloying, sweet, and terrible.

Bomber. Pours dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma shows cherry and chocolate, and burnt toast. Flavor surprisingly does not show the cherry, more dark chocolate. Finishes bitter and chocolatey.

22 oz bottle shared by huhzubendah, thanks Matt! Pours a translucent nearly black with light barely passing as focused burgundy hues on the glass. Aroma is chocolate covered cherries with slight cinnamon in the background, with roasted malts and cocoa present as well. Flavor is roasted malt and smoke with black cherries and chocolate. Solid all around, full bodied and moderate carbonation. Alcohol well-masked for a 11.5%.

The beer is a deep dark brown, nearing black, with an oily beige head that clings to the walls of the snifter. Aromas of roast, chocolate, coffee, cherry, fudge, dark fruit. Less of the biscotti comes through in this version. Cherry character with a robust malt profile. Thick and rich with a healthy amount of chocolate. Cherry sweetness with chocolates, like a gourmet candy bar. Not up to the level of Imperial Biscotti Break. Still, tasty.

Welcome back Rbrazell! Black pour with dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate covered cherries. Taste is heavy roast and chocolate with some sweet cherry and hints of acidity. Jammy tomato acid.

Bottle from CBX. Black pour with a brown head that fades into a ring. Aroma of fudgy chocolate, roasted malts, charcoal, hints of acid and sour cherries. Flavor is fairly close, kind if thin compared to the base beer, with a very well put by stevencon and myself tomato acid in the finish. Not bad, but I'm not sure how fresh this is.

I forget if it was Mikkeller or Evil Twin that made the beer as a specific joke about the kind of ridiculous beers that are coming out now but if itís not this one, that is completely insane. This is very much a black beer w/ a tan head of fine bubbles and nice spots of lace. It is a beautiful beer and you can tell that from only a small sample so itís really something. It has a surprisingly mild nose w/ just a touch of or roast and cherry. A bunch of vanilla comes out once tasted though. This has a nice creamy texture and mild carbonation. My biggest complaint is a bit of alcohol heat but that is not major. One of the better examples of the big, dark beer plus goofy ingredients trend thatís been going on for some years now.
