COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

bomber purchased in Colorado Springs and smuggled into Texas. Aroma - chocolate then a boatload of a bunch of chocolate - very rich then the bitter kind - hats off to others who found more aroma - I was overwhelmed with chocolate. great black pour with dirty brown head. 4 on palate Taste was chocolate then some drying chocolate. notice the theme. some booze on backe end. bottle was less than 1 year old much better than STier Chokolat as it wasn’t overly sweet; still would be better shared or in 12 oz....

aroma of cocoa, caramelized sugar and espresso. Flavors of smooth coffee and caramel cream, biscuits and hints of dark fruits. Velvety texture.

Had on tap at Edmund’s Oast. Mom actually liked this beer. Had several sips. In fact kept reaching for it. That sort of says it all. It’s dark, delicious and totally satisfying.. Tons of chocolate that is less apparent as it warms. Could be the perfect dessert to a really nice meal. Mental note to try this one again and with some salty fare. Curious how much better in can get. Phenomenal.

Pours jet black with a nice tense brown.head. Aroma is lots of chocolate and coffee fruity slightly sweet soy dried figs. Flavor is heavy yet drinkable, as aroma with lots of coffee and roasted malts, good bitterness and a bit pungent peppery.

Barwa: czarna, nieprzejrzysta nawet pod światło. Piana brązowa, drobna, szybko opadająca. Wysycenie niskie do średniego. Piwo jest gęste i lepkie. Aromat: czekolada i kawa - wyraźna słodycz. Cudownie kuszący. Smak: j.w. Mimo dość wysokiej ceny moim zdaniem warto. Jeśli uda się je gdzieś znaleźć...

Rating #1009 - February 28, 2014 - #beerguychrisgeekbeer for #week9 - $17.29 CAD for a 650mL bottle from Coop. Aroma is heavy roast malt, lots of coffee, chocolate. Taste is mild bitterness, medium-heavy alcohol character. Really cool porter, which easily stands up with some of the bigger Imperial Stouts. Has a cool bready chocolate character developed throughout. Phenomenal.

Tap @ Tröls. Dark and sweet with loads of dark chocolate, syrup and raisins. Salty food takes it to the next level.

This is delicious. Had it down as an imperial stout rather than a porter. It’s pitch black and oily. Very little head on my pour. Quite sweet. One to be sipped after eating. Lots of coffee, chocolate, dried fruit and maybe some almond in the taste. A benchmark.

Can’t really say that anything is missing. The aroma is marvellous and filled with chocolate, coffee, cherry? And something else. Beautiful colour and head. Well hidden alcohol. Delicious and exclusive and as it is a bomber at 11,5%, it is best shared with a friend.
