COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

Great coffee flavors really standout and has a nice bitter bite, creamy chocolate, touch of vanilla, hints of dark fruit, hints of toasted almond. The bitterness of the coffee is balances out with the sweetness of everything else. Alcohol with slightly noticeable, but still well hidden for the ABV.

Pours super dark brown with light head. Toasty chocolate and caramel aroma. Super creamy with sweet caramel, coffee, chocolate, and toffee flavors. Leaves a lingering toasty bitterness. Very yummy dessert beer without becoming saccharine.

Deep brown pour with a foamy tanned head. Aroma wafts of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is powerful milky chocolate and lots of vanilla. Very sweet caramel... Too sweet but a nice dessert sipper. Nice

Wow this is crazy stuff. Pours a dark brown with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate coffee and then more chocolate. Flavor is the same very rich and creamy. Very full bodied and sweet. No hint that this is almost 12%. Nice beer for dessert or with a cigar. A bit too sweet for me.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin light brown head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Full body, syrupy, sweet, lightly bitter, chocolate, rich, soft carbonation with almost no finish. Reminds me of Mackeson Triple Stout but not quite as refined. A very big beer.

Aroma: Dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, broken coffee bean. Appearance: Pours dark brown and syrupy. Decent amount of tan colored head. Great lacing. Taste: Loads of chocolate, coffee, caramel. Ends on a cookie note that abruptly shifts to a tongue-rash sweetness. Palate: syrupy and a little too cloying. the finish is not satisfying at all. If Evil Twin could finish a big and rich beer properly--a la Founders KBS, for instance--this beer would be a 4.3, easily.

22. Way to cold at the start here but I’m giving it a first impression note here. The coffe definitely breaks through and is setting up to be a dominant flavor. Nice creamy texture and light caramel sweetness. Some red fruit on the back of the palate and late in the sip. No head at all. As it warms a bit some chocolate flavors start coming through. Nice milk chocolate. Damn this would make a nice holiday dessert beer. All working together pretty well and nice subtlety to everything you get. Ok now that it has warmed a bit the body comes through pretty big. Also a bit of alcohol and the coffee does dominate. Big and boozy here but very entertaining.

22oz bottle. Poured jet black. Huge nose of caramel, lactose, and coffee, with a little bit of cocoa. Very rich and complex, sweet and smooth, outrageously balanced. Not a hit of it’s nearly 11.5%. Great beer.

aroma of dark chocolate with coffee. Appearance is a dark brown with a ruby glow, more like a porter than a stout, and a cool looking tan head that settles quickly. Has a sweet coffee and chocolate flavor. kind of a thin texture, i guess a prefer a thicker texture with this style(not bad my any means though) the original tastes seem to linger a bit. Good stuff. ( the alcohol is hidden very well)

Chocolate all over the place! Oh my god. A delicious, thick brownie flavor, hazel nuts, some coffee. A perfect dessert beer. This one has to be shared with minimum one good friend. Fantastic brew!
