Fresh batch-bottle. Pours deep thick black with espresso crema ring. Nose is coffee, dark malts, milk chocolate, light soy and molasses, booze became overwhelming on the nose as it warmed. Full bodied. Stewed figs, coffee, vanilla, light nuts, with hot, burning finish. Bit overrated, but would like to try again, maybe on draft and colder.

Had on draft at APEX. This is an amazing imperial stout. Big rich chocolate character, rich fruits(raisin, prune, fig), creamy milk chocolate, roasted malts, I picked up a touch of mint in the finish. Very good.

Pitch black with a thumb of a brown head. Aroma certainly reminds me of Biscotti. Huge whiff of coffee, vanilla, sugar, bread and nuts. Smells almost like a cake. On the tongue it is surprisingly medium bodies considering how big this is. Weighing in at 11.5% it is incredibly drinkable and light. Finish is on the sweeter side. Certainly a good beer and maybe more exciting than I was expecting.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a full brown head. Dissapates quickly leaving a light oily sheen. Complex aroma is sweet, smokey, coffee, and cocoa. Translates well into the taste. Emphasis on coffee, with molasses and smokey undertones. I’d have to consider this a dessert beer for sure and I’m digging the how the coffee blends with the sweetness.

Bottle from the Mane Liquor Male Sauna Club. Pours oily black with a creamy as fuck khaki head. Upfront aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, nuts and vanilla. Smells like a huge dessert. Flavours are immediate cocoa, followed by sweet nutty flavours and then a delayed espresso hit. Lingering coffee bitterness won’t even let me set the glass down, guzzler. Velvety mouthfeel, stellar beer.
