3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Sillky black pour with a thin froth of expresso colored foam which fades out quickly. Aroma is dense chocolate, cocoa, roast, coffee, and some darker malt with raisin lurking in the back. Taste is ultra heavy and potent chocolate with coffee, balancing hop bitterness, subtle raisin, and a fairly clean finish of chocolate bitterness and slight alcohol. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Ultra chocolate imperial stout. Not necessarily any better IMHO than much less costly, more widely available imperial stouts but if you want a ton of chocolate this is the beer.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On a ROLL, another fine one by ET. I’m back at the rating game... at least for a little bit longer.... Pours dark brown to black, strong chocolate colored head, although it dissipates fairly quickly to a nice ring but with only average lacing for the style. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, some dog food grains (in a sort of good way), vanilla. Flavor of coffee, chocolate, milk, dark fruits, licorice, caramel, toffee, lingering sweetness. Mouthfeel full to slightly sticky, residual grainy powdery feel too. Low carbonation. YUM! Woo, hoo, ET!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet on nose and overall flavored, on nose hints of milk chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon. Soft textured, sweet taste with minimal to light bitter. Light to none hops touch, compared with Bible Belt, this brew is like dark malts lemonade. But thick, close to full bodied, enjoyable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650ml bottle. Pours out very dark brown with a good amount of head. No real retention, however. Aroma has all kinds of influences. Chocolate, coffee, molasses and nuts are all vying for attention. Taste is sweet, thick and oily with many of those elements breaking through again. Some excellent flavours but the whole thing just didn’t seem to coalesce for me. Still very impressive though.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Feels more like imperial stout thou. Very fancy nose, quite intense vanilla, molasses, roasted malts, delicate cocoa, choco, bit licorice. Awesome beer, but comparing with Bible belt, feels bit thin. THou if you dont compare.. its awesome anyways
Sweetish with light bitterness

Tap@Taphouse, CPH - pours black with tan head. Aroma and taste is roasted malts, light burntness, caramel, chocolate, nuances of vanilla on the palate, lovely balance of light roasted bitterness and smooth sweetness. Immense.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz bomber. Poured nearly black, very little head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and even a bit of almond (though that might’ve been the power of suggestion). Taste was malty, notes of dark fruits - surprisingly didn’t get many coffee notes. Heavy on the palate. A very good stout, glad I got to try it. Extremely drinkable for its high ABV.

Wow. Such depth. I would never guess the 11.5% alcohol. Sweet, cookie flavor with a slight cherry finish. Awesome.

On tap at BeerCraft. Pours black with a brown head. Vanilla, almond, sugar initially then finishes with chocolate and coffee. Well balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Tasty!
