COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

22oz bottle purchased at Binnys Marcy... Pours a mostly solid black with auburn hues towards the edges with a very thin light beige head... Aroma of burnt toast, roast and tootsie roll chocolate, touches of cookie. Smooth and different... Flavors are more of the same with a semi-sweet focus with all the aforementioned aromas which come into play with more of an intensity. Semi-thick and smooth with adequate carbonation. Execute nicely.

Pours pitch black with a very dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, prunes, dark malts, chocolate, and white grapes. Flavor is much the same. Lots of those prune and grapes going on with balanced coffee and chocolate. Kind of reminiscent of some older dark lords. Rich full body that doesn’t linger too long.

Split bottle with friends. Poured a dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Chocolate notes, with a touch of coffee bitterness is coming through this one seriously. This is like having breakfast. Very good! Alcohol is pretty subdued in this one for being 11.5%. Nice!
