COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

Black creamy color with an amazing head. Chocolate aromas. Taste of creamy chocolate and "Mille-feuille" cake, with an almost coffee-ish aftertaste. Super tasty, super nice.

Great RIS, potent, velvety, full of aromas - chocolate and Belgian pralines. Bitterness at medium high level. Very sweet, but not cloying. Smooth and thick at the palate.

Bottle arrived thanks to my friend Federico Corbelli Portal Beer. The aroma and taste are amazing, really reminds own cookies this beer seem to remember the recipe for Grandma’s cookies when immersed in the mixture of coffee and liquor to prepare tiramisu cake. Excellent.

Bottle; pours black with a brownish mocha head. Nice smells of coffee biscuits and toffee beautiful silky mouth feel. It was even better than I imagined it to be a fantastic beer and only got better and better as it warmed up.

This beer is uncategorizable and spectacular. Dark, rich and sweet beyond all reason, the Biscotti Imperial is neither a stout nor a porter, but it is just as dark and rich. I swear I taste actual cocoa somewhere in the middle of this beer. Strong and most dangerously smooth drinking. If you see this beer, GET IT. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours pitch black with a super thin mocha colored fizz. Smells strongly of coffee and vanilla, and hints of almond. Taste is bold coffee and espresso with subtle vanilla notes. Medium-to-full bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Break finishes with an explosive amount of sweetness that never becomes cloying.

Deep black pour under a thin beige head. Amazing aroma with chocolate iced donuts and almonds with a gentle kiss of coffee. Lovely rich flavor with bittersweet dark chocolate, doughnut tones, a little almond and a sweet semi roasty finish. Incredible.

Draft at the Blind Tiger Ale House, NYC. Let me start by saying that this is one of the best beers I’ve had in my life... Poured in a big snifter, it looks quite impressive with its piano black, opaque color, and a thick, very creamy beige head that persists for very long. The smell is just superb, very classy mixture of roasted notes with sweet milk chocolate, biscotti, vanilla, some hazelnut and dark coffee. The flavor follows the smell and never disappoints. For such a strongly alcoholic brew (11.5!) it is surprisingly smooth. The mouthfeel is lusciously dense, almost oily, with a long-lasting aftertaste that adds just the right amount of bitterness to balance the heavy dessert-like flavors. This is a beer that you want to last forever in the glass. Awesome.

Be careful when you open the bottle - the sample I got fizzed like nobody’s business! Strong aroma has a firm and mouth-watering overtone of quality coffee with hints of unsweet chocolate and molasses. It pours a rich opaque sable just a flea’s eyebrow above black. Flavor is just simply sublime - quality coffee, roast malt, licorice, hints of molasses and chocolate. Could it get any better? Full, smooth texture has a good fizz to it and leaves a finish rich in roast coffee, semi-sweet chocolate and licorice.

Bottle on 01/07/12 Pours pitch black with a small ring of light brown head. The nose is very chocolatey and biscuity with a hint of coffee. Love the taste of this one. It's like having a chocolate biscotti with a cup of coffee. So good.
