On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration.
Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Palate is slightly soft but with a carbonated sting. Malt is sweetish with mild caramel. The hops are quite light and mildly fruity. This pilsner is all about the creamy malt for me, although some fruits coming through in the finish.

Draught at Řlbaren, Copenhagen
Cloudy amber color, small creamy head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, at first, but fading, and replaced by a feeling of wet soil. Caramel flavor, with some toffee and a nice touch of oranges; it also has a very light cheesy impression from the yeast; strong bitterness, providing a balanced mix of resins and fruits, not excessive; good body structure, with a round mouthfeel.
Not bad, but there is some dissonance.

Bottle. It’s an unclear, dark orange colored beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has quite a lot of sweetness, with piney, peachy hops. Mandarine too. Seems this beer is best enjoyed fresh, it feels a bit oxidized as it is now. Pine cones, peaches, sweet pale malts and some bubble gum and lemon in the finish. It’s bitter, but not too bitter. Full body, semi-dry, and pleasantly carbonated. A quite pleasant one, would really like to taste this one fresh. 131228
