COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shall one compare thee to a fair beer, Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice. Thou art more complex, brave and cunning. Thou have changed more than a brew will ever. Thou may be lil’, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Bottle. Pours pitch Black with a small, Brown head. Aroma has pretty roasted malts, iron, coffee, chocolate, molasses. Taste has burned sugar, coffee and chocolate. Nice, Heavy roast, prominent sweetness and some licorice. Nice imp. Porter, but slightly boring. Nice Body, but maybe a little to much carb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a little sediment and a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are cocoa, chocolate, roasted malt, and liquorice - with a smooth finish.

Bottle picked up from the Brewdog online shop, consumed at Isobels, Eardisley, Herefordshire, Friday 25th July 2014 Pours black, but its too dark outside for me to determine the colour of the head, a little chocolate. Easy drinking, smooth and alcohol shows but not too much. Its good but maybe not quite as good as I’d hoped. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

TET (1577) - FINLAND - JUL 25, 2014
A black beer with a medium and light brown head. The aroma is powerfull, roastiness, sweetness, hint of vanilla, some fruits, and also hint of alcohol in the background. Taste is rich of malts, salt liquirice, some overriped fruits, lots of herbal hops, roastiness. Powerfull and slightly boozy end. Full bodied, low carbonation. This isn’t an easy beer but rewarding. Very powerfull, almost too much of alcohol but still enjoyable.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique March 2013. Thick oily black looking beer that takes control of your senses rendering you useless. Fills the mouth with awesomeness.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 On tap at The Scratch Weekend of Darkness. Black with some viscous movement. Aroma is nice dark malts. Taste is silky smooth with a fairly decent whack of sweetness; oily without having too much soy sauce. ABV well hidden. Nice beer but loses a bit as it warms up - too much candied dark fruits.

Pure blackness, some brown crumbs floating around. Dark brown medium sized head, disappears quickly. Alcohol nose. Brown sugar and alcohol aroma, some dark chocolate and coffee. Extremely sweet. Medium to full body, flat to soft carbonation. Texture is thick and oily. Too sugary for my taste, but other than that, very interesting.

Barwa: czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Piana jasno brązowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, średniej wielkości, ale ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Całość jest gęsta i oleista. Aromat: ciemne słody, czekolada deserowa, melanoidyny, suszone śliwki, owoce czerwone (wiśnie?) oraz lekka nuta alkoholowa. Smak: pełny, słodki z wytrawną kontrą ciemnych słodów. Następnie czekolada, spieczone ciasto, owoce. Przeciętna goryczka oraz wyraźnie alkoholowa, rozgrzewająca końcówka. Tym razem o wiele ciekawsza propozycja z Evil Twin, dodatkowo w jednym z moich ulubionych stylów. Mocne, konkretne piwo do spokojnego sączenia. Idealne aby uczcić finał mistrzostw świata w piłce nożnej, podczas którego było spożywane. Trzeba dodawać coś więcej?
