Oh sweet choco like spl coffe and leaves of fig. Dark like night without moons. The beer get me much boost after few sips. I like I should share with lady friend to get her ways to relax and share more flesh with me. This remind me of stout but with much more smooth of flavours. As I sit after drinking few more many sips I begin telling from my heart- iím not ok. I should not drink such large drink in month of great fast during daytime until I eat. This beer of twin evils has shown one side and I fear the other side lest be coming from my side of lowers in the morning.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted at SIBF 2013. Super-dark -- mocha colored head. Definitely on the sweet side. Brown sugar, a little syrupy. Similar to aun mas Jesus -- a little bit thinner, and not quite as roasty. Quite tasty, though.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Oily black pour with a 1-2 finger, creamy, caramel brown head. Aroma is huge on roast, some dark caramel, chocolate, wet granite, a little earth and grassy, light citrus and pine hops. Flavor starts of with a deep complex roastiness, nothing else to like it to at first, just a great application of roasted malt, after a little bit some other flavors come in dark chocolate, burnt sugar, sweet caramel malt, caramel malt grains (pre mashing), sweet, tree fruit esters, some sweet bread spice, molasses and pine hops. Heavy body with a creamy to syrupy entry, light carbonation and slightly more syrupy, but still creamy then off dry finish. Really fantastic stuff.

Nearly black in color with a fudge colored head. Rich and decadent with just enough roasted malt. Chocolatey goodness and a hint of coffee. Nice stuff!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with medium frothy tan head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a strong roast, chocolate, and smoke. Thin mouthfeel with very sweet chocolate flavor, light roastiness and nice lingering sweet finish. Hides alcohol well, a very impressive imperial porter form Evil Twin.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours flat then rich creamy head forms once settled. Pitch black.
Rich, syrupy malt. Unfermentable sugar, slightly meaty, straight forward.
Metallic, rich, velvet smooth, dry, hint of pepper finish.
Weird aroma, burnt weed as it warms.
Really drinkable porter.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle: pour is black with tan head. The aroma is very malty and fruity consisting mainly of caramel, chocolate, raisin, with hints of smoke, soy, and licorice. The flavor starts pretty sweet like a combination of raisins and malted milk balls. The finish is amazing! The sweetness is quickly balanced by dr, bitterish dark chocolate and espresso. A really complex beer.

A very nice imperial porter. Pours a nice black with a light tan head. Smells awesome, like toasted marshmallows with a hit of dark chocolate and coffee. Tastes upfront like toasted marshmallows, very creamy with a boozy finish. Maybe slightly too boozy. Had on tap at Mill Valley Beerworks.
