Shall one compare thee to a fair beer, Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice. Thou art more complex, brave and cunning. Thou have changed more than a brew will ever. Thou may be lilí, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Interesting and unique. Dark pour. Alcohol, orange, toffee, and dates on the nose. Deep fruit flavors, over-ripe strawberries, vanilla, chocolate. Very boozy.

Majority of 12 oz. bottle, consumed on 11-14-14. Iíve been cellaring this bottle for about half a year, Iíd estimate. Scents of chocolate, cigar and cigarette tobacco, molasses, and caramel. Slightly meaty or even fishy smell. Pours a dark brown with a small amount of dark tan head. Long-lasting but limited and sporadic lacing. Looks as it should, but Iíve seen hundreds of beers that look like this. Quite sweet taste features flavors of raisin, tar, burnt brown sugar, plum, caramel, and artificial raspberry flavored sugary gelatinous snacks. Burnt aftertaste. Full body. Lively in the palate. Some alcohol heat. Sticky. Difficult to drink. I have a mixed reaction to the palate effects. Overall, Evil Twin Lilí B is over-the-top. It is aromatic, flavorful, decent-looking, and has interesting palate effects, but, ultimately, it isnít very pleasant.

hohops (518) - Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2014
Appearance is black as a moonless night, a one finger dark beige head which doesnít last long. Aroma- very chocolatey, caramel, treacle, vanilla ice cream, a bit boozy, fruitcake, fudge, milky coffee, sweet, dark fruit. Taste- nice and thick, bitter chocolate milkshake, coffee bitterness, dark chocolate, vanilla hints, slightly vinous, dark cherries, a bit oily towards the end, the right amount of carbonation to clean things up, some alcohol in there but hard to detect. Quite a sweet finish, with burnt treacle and molasses. Luxurious.

Bottle in Dublin. Deep dark brown with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of heavily roasted malt, soy sauce, and chocolate. The flavour is sweet with chocolate, roast malt, molasses, with a heavily bitter and roasted finish. Full bodied with an oily texture.

Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is lots of roast and some dark chocolate. Flavor is roasted malts and sweet chocolate. Has a full body and goes down smooth. The whole time I was drinking this I couldnít help but think itís more an imperial stout than a porter, but that doesnít really matter when it tastes this good.
