Nearly black in color with a fudge colored head. Rich and decadent with just enough roasted malt. Chocolatey goodness and a hint of coffee. Nice stuff!

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with medium frothy tan head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a strong roast, chocolate, and smoke. Thin mouthfeel with very sweet chocolate flavor, light roastiness and nice lingering sweet finish. Hides alcohol well, a very impressive imperial porter form Evil Twin.

Bottle. Pours flat then rich creamy head forms once settled. Pitch black. Rich, syrupy malt. Unfermentable sugar, slightly meaty, straight forward. Metallic, rich, velvet smooth, dry, hint of pepper finish. Weird aroma, burnt weed as it warms. Really drinkable porter.

Aroma of dark malts, meat, and dark pitted fruit. Pours a thick reddish black with a khaki ring and no lacing. The taste is complex, Sweet red fruit up front, prunes, bitter coffee-like flavors, grain, and alcohol follow. Full body with medium carbonation. Smooth rich mouthfeel. Overall, this is an excellant strong porter! Itís a wondeerfull tasty sipper!

12oz bottle: pour is black with tan head. The aroma is very malty and fruity consisting mainly of caramel, chocolate, raisin, with hints of smoke, soy, and licorice. The flavor starts pretty sweet like a combination of raisins and malted milk balls. The finish is amazing! The sweetness is quickly balanced by dr, bitterish dark chocolate and espresso. A really complex beer.

12oz bottle - pours dark brown with light brown head. ...In my jungle youíd be just another asshole... Nose is roasted coffee with liquorice. Flavor adds metal, chocolate and resin. very dry finish. Quite bitter for a couple of reasons. boozy and arrogant.

A very nice imperial porter. Pours a nice black with a light tan head. Smells awesome, like toasted marshmallows with a hit of dark chocolate and coffee. Tastes upfront like toasted marshmallows, very creamy with a boozy finish. Maybe slightly too boozy. Had on tap at Mill Valley Beerworks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black. Quite black. Tiny bit of brown at the edges but this beer is dark. A nice brown head puffed up at first, but it faded after a couple minutes, leaving behind some scummy-looking lacing. The aroma is sweet caramel and cocoa and a lightly acidic roast edge. Thereís also a healthy dose of vanilla, dates and a touch of soy, which probably grows as the beer ages. Taste is sweet with lots of toasty malt flavors. Vanilla stands out. The sweetness starts out with light caramel and gets darker and darker. Big chocolate fading into coffee and roast at the end. Toffee, sherry, molasses, mild smoke. Itís a little bland upfront, but malt complexity comes out as the beer progresses. Letting the beer warm up helps a lot, too. The aftertaste is chocolate, sherry, Baileyís, smoke and roasted coffee. The mouthfeel is thick and smooth. This beer isnít quite as refined as the Jesus series, but itís a dead solid imperial porter with a great mouthfeel and lots of good flavor for a pretty cheap price. Evil Twin is ridiculously good at making imperial porters/stouts.

Vanilla smell, dark fruit smell, not too much coco, chocolate or coffee smell, beautiful super dark appearance, that sweet taste, the swallow brings out that coffee and bitter chocolate and you can sure feel the heat. Great stout.

Evil Twin Lilí B is my first of what will definitely be more Evil Twin beers. Aroma of mostly raisins rising from a very dark pour with a thin but substantial head. Pour is very dark like a stout. Taste is very smooth without a hint of the 11.5% ABV coming through. Taste is a balanced and delicious mix of raisins, coffee and chocolate that linger on the palate long after the last sip. This is one of the better beers you will drink of any style. Lilí B is the bomb!
