COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shall one compare thee to a fair beer, Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice. Thou art more complex, brave and cunning. Thou have changed more than a brew will ever. Thou may be lil’, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a thick tan head that lasts. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and bit of nut. Taste of roasted malt, dark fruit with nuts. Good bitterness and a dry finish. Full body, thick and creamy, robust character with very little hint of the 11.5% ABV. Very enjoyable beer.

Pours with a thick caramel coloured head. Fruity molasses aroma. This beer has incredible depth & flavour - like a liquid chocolate fondant with a thick, caramel finish. Rated by BrewTom

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Deep brown-black with a reasonable mocha head. Aroma: Very deep and dark with a distinct savoury (beef broth/gravy) note, a little dark chocolate, molasses, light licorice, boozy, dark cherries, a bit peppery, after a while that savoury note disappears and the more common Impy Stout/Porter notes shine. Palate: Medium-full body, slightly aggressive carbonation, syrupy. Flav.: Lots of deep/dark malt, molasses, dark chocolate, a little black coffee, alcohol, un-fermented syrup, sweet; quite sweet with decent bitterness, plenty of alcohol and a dark chocolate, cacao, under-fermented thing.

Not great.

Dark chocolate with toffee and medicinal notes. Flavours are sweet toffee and bittersweet dark chocolate with berries and cherry cola. Rich coffee with peppery alcohol and an oily palate. Some hints of smoky meatiness with earthy soy. Spicy on the finish. Excellent.
