COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shall one compare thee to a fair beer, Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice. Thou art more complex, brave and cunning. Thou have changed more than a brew will ever. Thou may be lilí, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Black pour thin beige to tan head .. poured out thick and oily .... aroma is slightly boozy and of black licorice, dark chocolate .... taste is of vanilla, dark chocolate, black licorice and a little bitter hop bite with a bit of dark fruit to it as well ... mouthfeel is thick and oily .... dry and abv is hidden well .... finish is simple and dry with a lingering bittersweetness .... not bad stuff

Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is lots of roast and some dark chocolate. Flavor is roasted malts and sweet chocolate. Has a full body and goes down smooth. The whole time I was drinking this I couldnít help but think itís more an imperial stout than a porter, but that doesnít really matter when it tastes this good.

On tap @ 10 East - There is nothing "lil" about this huge monster of a beer. It slaps you upside your head itís so amazing. Waves of flavor and aroma attack your senses in the most pleasing way. My only nitpick with this is...impy porter...impy stout? Thereís no way I could tell which it was if tasting this blind. A little sludgy and itís absolutely wonderful because of it.

Bottle. Sour milk, quinine, and chocolate malt aroma. Black with small head. Very sweet chocolate syrup and light malt/hay flavor. Cloyingly sweet chocolate flavor without much else.

Aromas of dark fruits. Taste is the most coffee. Not at all heavy drinking. Good bitterness that fills the mouth forever. An enjoyable beer that is not at all heavy drinking. Follow me @ Kung av Ųl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Aroma complex and rich. Dark chocolate accompanied by dried fruits and a bit of roasted aroma in the background, very nice. Pours very dark, almost black with small head, that quickly disappears. Taste is sweet with a bit of bitterness coming right after. Thick body, carbonation is medium-high. Leaves a great aftertaste and warms the throat. Very good beer.
