COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Draft at Sybarite Pig in Boca. Tulip. Golden pour with ample fluffy head. Awesome hack frost lacing. Aroma of cereal, grass, grain and fresh hops. Taste us cereal, grains, grass, and a hop profile. Awesome flavor and balance. Refreshing and light but with flavor. Light body, medium carb. Finish clean and crisp.

In short: A very hoppy-grassy pils with a nice “rural” character. Lovely thirst beer.
How: Tap at Blackback pub, Waterbury VT..
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a medium white with good retention.
In long: Nose offers really nice grassy hops, sundried hay and an overall countryside field sensation. In mouth the body is surprisingly full and with a slightly fluffy texture and a lively non-aggressive carbonation, a pleasant mouthfeel. Taste is spot-on. Expressive fresh bready pale cereals and a whole lot of dry grassy hops leading to a rather dry finish with a bitterness of medium intensity. Might be because of the tap conditioning but I thought this was a surprisingly nice offering coming from a brewery that is not exactly known for their thirst blonde lagers. Another underrated thirst pilsner, and I may pretend that I don’t care that ratebeer tickers never give good ratings to session lagers but the truth is deep down inside I really really really don’t care.

12 oz. bottle from Star Grocery. It pours a rather cloudy golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is surprisingly balanced with crackery malt and light tea leaf, spicy hops. The flavor is very strongly bittered with intense lemon peel and herbal hop bitterness coupled with a touch of background bready malt. More citrus peel and herbals near the finish. A bit overwhelming with the intense hop bitterness, but very flavorful for the style. It kind of suffers from a lack of finesse.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, SF. Bold, hoppy pilsner. Golden yellow, proper white head. Nice bitter nose, some malts, but more hops. Enough restraint, solid but sessionable.

Expected color, carb, head for a pilsner. Strong hoppy/grassy almost skunky aroma.Bready buttery, light sweetness. Tart citrus. Same taste as aroma.Lightly bready sweet with grassy tartness. Really enjoying this pilsener. Price pisses me off. Luckily its good enough to mellow you out to not think about the price, why think about it- youve already bought it.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium grass hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Light, zippy cereal aroma bursts out of the craggy egg-white head. Smooth, light and crisp with some decent bitterness with no discernible hop flavor. Packs a good amount of flavor in something so light and drinkable.

Tørst with everyone for Joe’s visit. Pours a mostly clear amber gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Big musk, touches of yeast. Gentle musk with a bit if citrus and earthy hops. Lovely, gentle musk and citrus. Beautiful.

Almost some smokiness more than grass in the aroma. Looks nice. This is great. Crisp and flavorful, it has a fairly big mouthfeel that has a nice semi-dry finish. Quite tasty beer.

On tap at Original Gravity in San Jose. Pours hazy translucent yellow. Nice lacy foam, thin but durable. Aromas are wheat lemon and honey. Little pilsner funk in the nose. Taste is clean and crisp, light biscuit malt flavors, Lemon in the mid palate before a clean, mild funk finish. If I were to brew a pilsner, I’d want it to taste like this.
