3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355 ml bottle. Unclear yellow/golden body with a big, lacing white head. Aroma has pale malt, grain, grassy hops and a hint of popcorn. Flavor is light and refreshing, some malt and fruit in general with hint of bread. Medium body and slightly bitter aftertaste. A bit unusually for a pilsner, still a pilsner and basically more refreshing and tasting than most others.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pint can. Golden pour with pillowy white head. Aroma is clean and lightly happy. The flavor is more sweet and less crisp than I would expect from a pilsner, but it is still a delicious beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Flaske 355ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Batch 6. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kritthvitt skum som daler sakte. Litt uklar. Lett maltaroma. Smaken lett maltig med hint av frukt. Blir tørr etter hvert. Sikkert ok til mat.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Patchy surface. Near clear golden body. Spotty lacing. Fruity aroma of pine and peaches. Well balanced taste profile of grassy hops, pine and mild caramel sweetness. Moderately dry hopped bitterness to the ending. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied with splendid drinkability. Nice partner to our celebration chicken dinner (Tromsø 20.03.2016).

Spicy grass aroma. Light hazy golden body with a spongey white head. Straight forward grain malt taste. Some Gives a puckering sensation. Bitter but not in an IPA way.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can - the appearance is a clear light golden yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is fresh ground wheat, dried grass, mild pine hop and plain popcorn. I taste a light bodied lager with a clean breadiness, straw, a unique yeastiness and a spicy pine hop finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured out a slightly cloudy light amber. 12ºSRM.
Nose has cream corn, cream of wheat sweetness. Slightly spicy suggesting basil.
There is a slight tea like astringency to the nose: floral and yet clean and and dry.
Mouthfeel is soapy. There is rounded fullness to the palate with nice toasted malt, graham cracker, caramel and hard candy like sweetness. There is a dry tannin-like finish to the hop bitter. Overall palate is almost light and beery but with a very nice clean finish, then another slight flavor hump of flowery sweetness, like chamomile tea, and some brightness of citrus flowers, then a slide into a two dimensionally sweet finish.
one more final tasting note is that there is a nice bitter spicy flavor that is remiscent of mint, but maybe more appropriate to describe it as hyssop where there is minty and bitter together. There is also Thai basil and maybe at the end, fresh cilantro.
Ok, I’m almost indefensibly fond of this one...can’t really explain why, but I like it. Kinda like your Low life Uncle that you see once a year at family gatherings who always has something elicit and exciting to share and you love him because his family but also because he’s bad.

A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.
Yea, light, hoppy, it is the low life. Packaging is every thing.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml served in a plastic goblet. Pours a cloudy orange color forming a big but quickly disappearing white head that leaves only few spotty lacings in the glass. Bready nose. Strong notes of pale and crystal malts and some grassy and citrus hops. Honey. Taste follows the nose, a crispy but sweety bready nose. Notes of pale and crystal malts. Good grassy bitterness. Light body. Good carbonation. Grassy and crispy aftertaste. Great Pilsenser.

Hazy golden ochre, one finger white frothy head, good lacing. Hoppy in a flowery way, sweet, caramel malt. Medium body, thick malt, long grainy bitterness, dry but sweet notes from flowery hoppiness. Tasty, balanced, minimal in a good way.
