A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, grass, biscuity, citrus, hops, hint of floral. Flavour is light sweet with a tasty moderate to medium bitter finish. Body is medium. A first class Pilsener, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light - some bread and light floral fruitiness, light - some citrus hoppyness. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light bread, light floral fruitiness and citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light bread and floral fruitiness, light - some citrus/herbal hoppyness. Pils with rather strong notes of bread in the aroma. Too sweet.

12 oz bottle poured. Pours a golden color with a thin fizz head. Grain, corn and hints of fruit on the aroma. Flavor matches closely with some hops that come in late. Grainy linger. Easy drinking. Pretty good.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a flute glass at the Iron Abbey in Willow Grove, PA. The appearance is a hazy golden orange with a moderate sized white head. The aroma is full of malt with some biscuit and hops added for fun. The flavor is big on malt and bread, a really nice flavor. Overall, a really good beer.

Pours a slightly cloudy, dark golden yellow color with straw colored edges and a one finger, white foam head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Splotchy lacing left behind. Slightly earthy, crisp hop aroma with pale malt and light fruit notes. Grassy with sappy pine needle followed by hints of apple, straw, pale pilsner malt and biscuit. Similar to aroma with a crisp hop bite up front that lingers over the pale malts into a slightly dry finish. Nice grassy presence with sweet apple and pear flavor. Nothing too exciting but this beer is crisp, refreshing and easy to drink.

Dry, floral, grassy with some bitterness but fairly smooth. A decent pilsener. Never blown away by the style of beer (too close to lager) but it has its place. Of course this is well made.

On tap at 109 Brewhouse. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of floral hops. The taste was of sweet malts, some grapefruit and bitter lemons with a touch of herbal notes. Tasty.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a lager white head. Aroma is chalky pils malt with a little grassy hop. Flavor is a nice dry pils malt with lots of soft carbonation. Finish is dry but decently hopped. Pretty good pils. The malt and hops equally make a solid appearance.

Bottle. Great looking beer, thick, white lacing head. The beer is hazy brown, well carbonated. It is well hopped but the pilsner flavor comes through as well. Dry, and a little bit earthy.
