COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Lasting creamy white head atop a clouded, sediment filled gold body. Nose of weed, citrus, fruit, phenolic and cardboard. Decent hop front, not terribly traditional - but hey, this is Evil Twin Brewing. Good bitterness yet not clean. Some spiciness. Okay.

Lots of power and presence for what is a subtle style. Far from OTT at 5%, the flavours are classic but more in your face than what is typical. Concentrated herbs and grass, almost bitter, and a sweetness that is probably hop-derived. Plays bigger than it is.

Craft beer advent calendar. Pours a hazy yellow - gold with a massive out of control white rocky head. Aroma is grassy, lemony, lightly spicy, and a clean, crisp light malt profile. Flavour is grass, lemon, spicy hops, medium bitterness, light bready notes, and overall a clean, crisp maltiness with a small malty sweetness.

Huge white head on yellow pour. Grassy, citrus. A complexity and smoothness not often found in a pilsner.

Rating #852 - December 23, 2013. Beer 23 in the Craft BeerAdvent Calenda. Clear yellow pour, with a moderate white foam, medium carbonation. Aroma is sticky green apple malt, corn, grains, grassy hops... Taste is quite smooth, barely there grassy hops and more green apple fruity malt and yeast esters., mouthfeel is quite bubbly, finishes smooth, not overly dry. A big whomp whomp from the craft beer tuba.

Bottle, Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2013. Hazy bright yellow, very lively head. Slightly sweet crackery malts, nice grass ad light florals, hint of plastic. Nice pils for sure.

CBAC day 23. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a huge frothy and bubbly white head. Aroma of yeast, bread, grass, herbs and some light citrus on the finish. Taste is yeast, bread, grassy hops with some light citrus and floral flavors as well. Nice hop presence to this lager as well as having a nice dry crisp and clean finish. Overall this is a nice pilsner with some hop presence just a bit light in the body and could use more malt backbone.

Hazy golden with massive white head that dissipates quickly. Grassy, citrusy aroma with a light skunk. Nice and crisp but hoppy with a citrusy hop bite. Nice beer.

12oz brown bottle, from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar ’13. Bright yellow pour with haze. Quite heady, white foam last a long while, big bubbles, lots of lace. Aromas of grains, some bready sweetness, bit of lemon and grassy hop. Flavours of grain, bready and big grassy hops. Ends dry, lots of grassy bitterness, lots of carbonation. Nice.

Botella de 65 cl en el Lupulo. 21-12-13.
