COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

A mild, full pilsner. Lots of body, bright yellow appearance. Grass and citrus in the nose.

Tap at Mikkeller Bar, San Francisco. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small fading white head. Nose has herbal notes, citrus tones and floral hops. Bit of dough in there too. Taste is super crisp - citrus/floral tones combing with the dough malts. Super easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Advent 23. Super foam on golden yellow. Bit of a sulphury scent and taste. Flavour is salty, buttery and grain. Body is thin. Maybe it needs a tap.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hued body and a small white head that fades. Aromas are of bready and doughy malt, mild yeast, low sweetness, light citrus and herbal hop notes. Flavors are dry and bitter with light herbal and tea like notes. Dry, crisp and clean, low citrus, mild yeast. Very little malt structure. Bitter balance. Lively carbonation. Dry, low body.

Light golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma is cereal, lemongrass, honey. Wow, this is a great pilsner. Mid palate cereal sweetness with lemony, crisp hops. Finishes crisp and citrusy.

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are grains, citrus, hay, and grass – with a dry finish.

Draft at Sybarite Pig in Boca. Tulip. Golden pour with ample fluffy head. Awesome hack frost lacing. Aroma of cereal, grass, grain and fresh hops. Taste us cereal, grains, grass, and a hop profile. Awesome flavor and balance. Refreshing and light but with flavor. Light body, medium carb. Finish clean and crisp.

In short: A very hoppy-grassy pils with a nice “rural” character. Lovely thirst beer.
How: Tap at Blackback pub, Waterbury VT..
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a medium white with good retention.
In long: Nose offers really nice grassy hops, sundried hay and an overall countryside field sensation. In mouth the body is surprisingly full and with a slightly fluffy texture and a lively non-aggressive carbonation, a pleasant mouthfeel. Taste is spot-on. Expressive fresh bready pale cereals and a whole lot of dry grassy hops leading to a rather dry finish with a bitterness of medium intensity. Might be because of the tap conditioning but I thought this was a surprisingly nice offering coming from a brewery that is not exactly known for their thirst blonde lagers. Another underrated thirst pilsner, and I may pretend that I don’t care that ratebeer tickers never give good ratings to session lagers but the truth is deep down inside I really really really don’t care.

12 oz. bottle from Star Grocery. It pours a rather cloudy golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is surprisingly balanced with crackery malt and light tea leaf, spicy hops. The flavor is very strongly bittered with intense lemon peel and herbal hop bitterness coupled with a touch of background bready malt. More citrus peel and herbals near the finish. A bit overwhelming with the intense hop bitterness, but very flavorful for the style. It kind of suffers from a lack of finesse.
