Bottle. Hazy light gold with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is pilsner malt and light citrus. Taste follows suit but emphasizes the citrus a little more. Crisp mouthfeel and long finish. Enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Thanks Huhzubendah! Pours a cloudy golden yellow with bone white rocky head that leaves a thick lacing. Aroma is sweet lager yeast, malt and slight hop tang. Flavor is classic pilsner sweetness with clean malt and hop balance. Overall bright flavor, light body and a certain medicinal finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear light to medium amber, long lasting 1/2" white head, no lace. Taste is crisp malt with light sweet grass, that adds pleasant floral hops midway through the palate. Just a touch of sulfur in the finish completes an excellent example of the style. A particularly good, thirst satisfying brew. High recommendations.

From the bottle at the Fare. Aroma is bitter yeast, fresh cut grass, and stale bread. Pours light and bubbly with a light blonde body. Taste is grass, peanut brittle, and stale biscuit. Not the most exciting pilsner but probably easy to kick back a few.

Bottle at Grand Öl och Mat. This was weaker than i expected, primarily malt-driven. Meh.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at wob. Very carbonated, murky yellow. White lacing. Very dry with a strong green tea flavor. Assertive bitterness. Hop flavor Is high, giving it a very earthy, herbal character. Finish is very drying and leaves the mouth feeling attacked by hops and tingles on the tongue. Body is low medium. Overall an interesting, hugely hoppy, clean tasting beer that seems overpowering and leaves me wanting something thirst quenching as opposed to this drying mouthfeel

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Head mildly lacking, and low aroma in general. Very drinkable, one of the few pilseners I’ve had with much flavor at all. Great mouthfeel, light to medium with high carbonation that combines for a refreshing, summer beer without resorting to wheat or fruit. Clean.

#23. From the bottle. Pours hazy yellow with large amount of head. Smell is of yeast, lemon, spice, orange peel. Taste is wheat, lemon, orange spice. Overly carbonated. Taste is good up front but the finish is watery. A pilsner with a little more bite than most.

About as good an American pilsner as I’ve had, but that is still not really saying much. This one had a body and profile somewhere in between a pale ale and a pilsner. But the finish is just lacking that crispness that makes a good pilsner so special.
