A clever woman once said; ífair is foul and foul is fairí. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. Thatís why we name Evil Twin Brewingís Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Tap at Torst. Big hops nose, pilsner malts. Cloudy golden color. Grainy, malty flavor of grass and citrus. Nice bitterness.

Gold pour, nice white head. Aroma is of bready malt, lemon, and spice. Flavor is crisp lemon, spicy hops, bready malt. Medium-light body, dry finish. Quite good for a pilsener.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head which leaves nice lace. Aroma is floral, grassy, bready and some slight berries as well as mild earthy notes. Flavour is very similar, but with a nice fresh and crisp take to it. Quite a pleasant Pilsener.

Pours slightly hazy pale gold with one finger of loose white head, good retention and moderate lacing. (3/5) Nose is herbal, grassy, pale bready malt, some citrus. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Light to medium body, prickly to moderate carbonation, off-dry and crisp finish. (4/5) A non-traditional but pleasant pils. Definitely hoppier than a true pilsener, and with a heavier body - but those arenít negatives as far as Iím concerned. I guess the truth is, I want every beer to taste like an IPA. This one tends to that flavouring, so iís a win with me. (15/20)

Bubbly hazy yellow, soapy foam. Aroma is immediately floral hoppy, grassy and good. taste is fruity, orange and hoppy. Not crisp like a typical pilsener, but softer and more rounded. Still good though, even without the typical scrape I was expecting. Just dandy.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/5/2015. Pours a clearish light golden with a small head. The aroma is grassy with some light fruitiness. Taste wise, it features biscuity and bready malt, citrus (particularly lemon and some orange), and pretty big herbal hops kicking in late and lingering long. Full bodied with average carbonation. Not a typical pils but rather tasty and unusually bitter.

It's a hoppy lager. I like hops, I like full-bodied lager (and it does have plenty of malty body) and this delivers that unusual combination very well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can (473 ml) bought @ Winooski Beverage Warehouse.

Appearance: Slightly easy orange-golden with a medium easy to revive creamy white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Herbal and leafy hops forward along cereals, peppery notes and mild citrusy notes.

Taste: Herbal forward with peppery notes, breadied cereals and a rather high bitterness level for the style.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate to medium carbonation. Creamy and fluffy mouthfeel. Herbal and peppery finish. Lingering bitterness.

Overall: Hoppy pilsner with a nice fluffy mouthfeel. Bitterness level is a tad too high for the style. Itís quite drinkable and quenching nonetheless. I enjoyed.

Golden murky appearance, decent head. Mango hops, spritzy clear fermentation. Nice bitterness, easily drinkable. Perhaps not quite clean enough. Nice recipe, simple hop mix I think, but thatís fine for the style. I very much enjoyed this, a really solid modern Pils. (33cl bottle from Saveur BiŤre)

330ml bottle from the Brewdog online shop. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of lime, green mango. Taste is bitter, more fresh lime. Crisp finish. Nice modern pils.
