COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, SF. Bold, hoppy pilsner. Golden yellow, proper white head. Nice bitter nose, some malts, but more hops. Enough restraint, solid but sessionable.

Tap at Mikkeller Bar, San Francisco. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small fading white head. Nose has herbal notes, citrus tones and floral hops. Bit of dough in there too. Taste is super crisp - citrus/floral tones combing with the dough malts. Super easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

CBAC day 23. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a huge frothy and bubbly white head. Aroma of yeast, bread, grass, herbs and some light citrus on the finish. Taste is yeast, bread, grassy hops with some light citrus and floral flavors as well. Nice hop presence to this lager as well as having a nice dry crisp and clean finish. Overall this is a nice pilsner with some hop presence just a bit light in the body and could use more malt backbone.

Cloudy golden color, large rocky head, amazing lace and retention. Despite an overflowing head, looking at it is fun stuff and I’m not sure what else you could expect from a Pilsner. I rarely give 5/5 but this is fully worthy. Aroma is like a golden/blonde ale, notes of lighter fruit, grass, pale malt, sea air. Light bodied, complex, very drinkable. Amazing.

Mycket trevlig.

@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear light to medium amber, long lasting 1/2" white head, no lace. Taste is crisp malt with light sweet grass, that adds pleasant floral hops midway through the palate. Just a touch of sulfur in the finish completes an excellent example of the style. A particularly good, thirst satisfying brew. High recommendations.

Bottle: Nearly clear, yellow/gold with a tall white head. Slightly smoky, wheat and lemon aroma. Taste is much the same...light, malty, a little white pepper spicing.... Fairly bright and lively. Very solid....liked this one a lot.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. OleR professed this to be one of the best pilsners he’d tasted, so I quickly took to the Evil Twin stand for a check. :-) Slightly hazy golden body, medium white head. Aroma is grassy Saaz-style hop tones, pale malts and hints of grain and fresh dew. Nice. Taste is fresh noble hops, pale malts and hints of herbs, with a nice and dry, yeasty finish. A very good pils indeed, and in fact I think it just might be the best of its kind to strafe my mouth as well. :-)

Shiny blond head. Hazy yellow colored body. Grassy and fruity hop aroma. Taste is sweet-accented bready malts, yet very fresh. Firm grassy and fruity bitterness. Smooth and well-bodied. Drinks good, very refreshing. [Draft, CBC 2012]

Tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Mild-hoppy aroma. Starts mild, fine hoppy-dry, nice hoppy-flowery notes. Finish still mild, more dry than the beginning. Not bad!
