COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Shiny blond head. Hazy yellow colored body. Grassy and fruity hop aroma. Taste is sweet-accented bready malts, yet very fresh. Firm grassy and fruity bitterness. Smooth and well-bodied. Drinks good, very refreshing. [Draft, CBC 2012]

Tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Mild-hoppy aroma. Starts mild, fine hoppy-dry, nice hoppy-flowery notes. Finish still mild, more dry than the beginning. Not bad!

12oz bottle, shared by Jay. Bottled 3/22/13. Nice clear golden color. Thin white head, leaves decent lace. Good sweet grainy taste. Light on the bitter, good balance in the taste. Medium body. Great, smooth lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp, with a lightly dry finish. Bready, light pepper, light bit of crisp lightly spicy lightly grassy hop, with some sweet grains overall. Wonderful, gimmick-free pilsner. This rainy spring day, I wasn’t in the mood for IPA, which is rare for me. This pils hit the spot perfectly. Crushable, easy drinking tasty brew.

Bottle @ The BeerMongers... Poured clear golden with a thick, fizzy white head. Mild retention but eventually faded. Nice biscuity malt with some hop tones and lemon zest. Some sweetness towards the end added depth to the finish. At $2.70 a 12oz this is a great drinking lager.

Pours an orange-tinged yellow, lightly hazy, with a thin eggshell head. Aroma is bready malt and grass. Flavor is light; grainy cereal, with quite a pronounced noble hop presence. A pleasant pilsener, with an emphasis on the grass and bread.

On tap @ Provisions Market. Pale golden colored beer with a white head. Nice biscuit malt notes up front. Grassy hops, a touch of citrus, and soap. Good biscuit malt flavor, too. Quite crisp and somewhat bitter. Grass, light citrus peel, and a hint of yeast.

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy yellow with a big white head and great lacing. Crackery, straw, somewhat grassy, chalky, doughy, and minerally aroma. Taste is semi-sweet up front, with touches of grain, straw, sweet corn, and chalk through the middle ending with a medium grassy bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with crisp carbonation. Pretty easy-drinking, zippy and crisp - tasty pils.
