COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

The 100th rating of this bad boy. Bottle courtesy of nimbleprop, thanks! Cloudy golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of peppery straw. Taste is bitter hay, subtle lemon peel. Crisp enough.

The snarky description aside, this is at least a half-way decent pils. Dry golden pour with huge off white head. Slightly hoppy nose with other minor subtleties. dry grainy and watery body. strong carbonation. dry finish.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Paycheck. A light crisp nose, very bready. The flavor is a clean earthy Pils, very dough-like, sourdough really, some bitter fruity hops, quite nice. Smooth and easy.

Nearly clea, yellow gold pour with a 3 finger, fluffy, bright white head. Aroma of sweet cereal, hay, toast, grass, floral and light spicy hops. Flavor is bready up front, then some cereal, grass, honey, floral hops, a little muted citrus and spicy hops. Light body, with a full, creamy entry, medium strength, slightly sharp carbonation and neutral to off dry, somewhat chalky finish, with a nice, acidic hop bite. Interesting and strange on that last note, being a 5.5%ABV Pils, but it works.

On tap at Poor Phil’s in Oak Park, IL., and dispensed to a footed ale glass, showing a clear golden hue, with a decent, 1/2" hat of white foam, and ribbony lacing. The aroma was lager & pils scent, with sweet maltiness. The flavor included a hefty hop bitterness that was earthy & rindy, and complemented well by a noticeable alcohol presence, even at 5.5%. Better than light bodied, and crisp finishing.
