COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

from a tallboy into a pilsner glass. didn’t expect much from this one. but it was actually good. not super hoppy at all but solid plisner all around. I only paid $2 for the can, so the low price didn’t hurt either.

Pint can. Easy drinking, highly carbonated slightly bitter/hoppy, astringent pilsner. Good enough for what it is, but not nearly as good or floral as other similar options like To Øl’s My Pils or Mikkeller’s Vesterbro Pilsner.

Here’s a very good brewery, no doubt, but the beer is still a style that is hedonistically difficult to love. Yellow. Grassy, straw, moderately astringent, with an overall effect tbat if I had this set against some beers regarded as "bad" I don’t know if I could tell the difference. This is a beer meant for real low lifes. Bottle.

From tap @ Beer Temple, just a few sips, with Zlotta & Markoijelena. Hazy pale yellow color. White head. Aroma’s: fruity, rainish, sweetish, hops. Flavor is moedrate bitter, a bit perfumy, light sweet. Light bodied. Quite bitter finish. Nice enough.

Zlotta (1907) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2016
Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-grassy, a little floral aroma of fresh grass, some honeyish malts and citrus. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of fresh grass, honeyish malts and some citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and rather dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, refreshing stuff!

Hazy gold, small head. Nose is Pils malt and euro hops. Bitter. Middle is bright, malty, some fresh hay. Finish is tries malty, but succumbs to a quick biting hoppy bitterness.
