Idiosynkrasie (3817) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2014
650ml bottle. Cloudy, pink-ish, amber colour with small to average, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Lactic, tart-ish aroma, fruity hints of rhubarb, rose hip, hibiscus, a sulphuric touch. Taste is moderately tart, minimally sweet, fruity notes of strawberry, rhubarb, hibiscus; doesn’t go without artificial touch.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a tiny, off-white head. Very odd, vegetable and herb arome - don’t really get beet root associations though, but strangely enticing. Light body, very tart and lactic. Flavourwise I don’t really get much more than the lactic notes, but that’s cool enough since beet root can be a preeeettty terrible thing in beer. But not bad for what it is really. 010914

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear pink with a creamy white head. The nose has some cucumber, light beetroot, berries. Light sweet flavor with a small dose of tartness, slight lactic tang, strawberry. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish with moderate tang, some sugary beets, jammy berries. Good stuff. Easy drinking.

65cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2014, from Geers Oostakker, not complex sour brew, sour/malty and slightly fruity/woody, yet easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, good head, nice brew, yet expensive!

Butelka 66cl. OCZY : piwo ma kolor różowego bursztynu. Jest przejrzyste o niewielkiej pianie koloru białego. NOS : od razu czuć korzenny aromat surowego buraka. Do tego mocny aromat cytryny i skórki cytryny. Trochę zielonego jabłka i rabarbaru.
