COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after an antagonist movie character with a violent temper and a propensity for drooling, furthermore brewed amongst mad-ish Scottish dogs. Nevertheless is this beer far from mad itself. You’ll find it a very pleasant, peaceful and a loyal Pale Ale – woof.

Bottle. Pours a deep orange/brown with a dissipating white head. Aroma of white wine, English hops, English malts, toffee, oranges. Flavour is very very subtle - almost to the point of it tasting like sparkling water! Very light hints of above-mentionned qualities. Not a lot to say about this since there isn’t much to comment on. Very low complexity, very high acidity. Probably best described as a "nothing thing". Oh dear Evil Twin.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of biscuity malts, some dank herbal notes, more English-smelling than American in terms of the hops. Flavour is bland as hell, almost no discernible flavours - like sparkling water, with very subtle hints of what was detected on the nose. Gets a big metallic with each successive sip. This is unusually sub-par for Evil Twin. Not good at all.

(sample at Papsø’s) Pours a clear amber with white head and lace. Aroma is matchstick, grassy hoppy. Oily texture, soft carbonation with medium body and a bitter finish. Taste is bitter and grassy with not much redeeming sweetness or complexity.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a rich and lacing white head. Somewhat rustic hop aroma, not overly crisp. Medium body, a little caramel, somewhat skewed malts and a rather rough and not overly sophisticated bitterness. 140712

On tap at Alewife during my anniversary dinner with the wife. Orange pour with gentile white head. Aroma has notes of biscuit, orange peel and pine. Flavor is surprisingly doughy, too much so, with notes of orange peel and pinecone. The dough was distracting. Some slight spiciness with moderate hop bitterness.
