Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with an average to large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 3 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is big on citrus with some earthy notes. Taste is a grapefruit hop bitterness with some earthy bitterness as well and an underlying malty sweetness. Medium bodied with nice carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. A nice representation of the style and quite tasty and deserves a sampling or two.

Slightly unclear amber yellow colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts, honey, lots of hops. Citrus, sweat, pine resin, floral notes, you name it. Quite bitter flavour, light sweet, very fruity. Quite dry. Bitter, fruity finish, hops, light honey sweetness.

Bottle: Thanks Jan: An almost clear yellow colored beer with a small white head/lacing. Hops, soap, citrus, sweet, grainy, soapy, bitter, fruity, floral, pine, resin. Very nice. Aftertaste is strong bitter and stayin bitter with pine, citrus, grains, hay and grass. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium to full body and a light creamy texture.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a copper amber colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of bready malts, grass, wet carpet(!) and earth. Flavour of really strong and bitter hops, malts, floral notes, weak fruitiness and some caramel. Medium bodied, thick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes very bitter with caramel sweetness. Actually has some German elements, possibly from the maltiness. Not the best Hipster Ale.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka
Vertical with Global Hipster Ale, this was worse.
Aroma is rather stale with gooseberry bush, some ripe fruits and grainy malt typical go German lagers. Also hints of moldy cellar. Flavour is sweetish with resin, some grainy malt and moldy cellar. Not bad but I wonder if the bottle was ok?

330ml bottle from City Beer, San Francisco, CA

Vertical with Hipster Ale - Pours reddish orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of biscuity malts, wet cardboard, hints of fruity hops and grass. Taste is biscuity and stingy hoppy with notes of grass and hints of pine & fruits. Bitter and hoppy finish with a lot of biscuity malty notes and hints of nuts. Okay, quite basic but tasty pale ale.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Fonefan. Lightly unclear orange, small off-white head. Smell malts, pine spruce. Taste malts, pine, spruce, very bitter. Medium body and carbo. Nice one.
