COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Small tan head. Hazy deep orange body. A hoppy, fruity pine aroma becomes dominating. I would have wished that the taste was a little more round, although it isn?t bad at all. The alcohol is really well hidden in this one. Feels light in the mouth. A little too carbonated for my taste.

Cloudy red body, minimal white head. Very nice hoppy aroma with lots of grapefruit and pine, orange, lemon, caramel, pineapple. Medium, harsh palate. Very strong bitter flavour with pine, grapefruit, caramel, spices and other fruits, leading to a quite sweet alcoholic finish.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly cloudy deep amber colour with a nice medium light beige head. A compact spicy hop aroma with grapefruit and a bit sour pine and alcohol in the end. A malty bread in the background. Balanced. Powerful hoppy flavour where you almost can chew the hop pellets. A bit sweet and is reminiscent of a liqueur. Malty and rich. Rich and heavy mouthfeel, and has a heavy bitterness. A hoppy monster, but a balanced one. Pleasant, and enjoy in small sips.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, february 8th 2013. A dangerous one, as its 13% abv is barely noticable. Hazy dark orange body, small white head. Aroma of fruity hops and pine, malt, and more pine. Taste of oranges, herbs and pine, with caramel and honey sweetness. Good bitterness with an ever present malty thick feel, some alcohol taste. Bitter and piney aftertaste.

Draught at BrewDog Pub, Camden Town, London. Orange/amber hazy beer with a small offwhite head. Sweet, hoppy, malty, caramell and fruity aroma. Similar flavour with nice figs notes. Lovely beer :-)

Pours a very hazy medium amber to orange body with an off-white and rather frothy head that reduces to a fully lasting layer after some time, and leaves a good deal of foam on my glass. The aroma is strong and very hoppy without overdoing it. It’s also quite sweet and malty, so it feels very well balanced. I get lots of slightly overripe fruity notes with spicy mango and citrus. The taste is initially heavy sweet and the sweetness lasts way into the heavy bitter and unusually long-lasting finish. The flavours are strong and delicious, again with slightly overripe fruits, grapefruit, resin and general hoppy notes, caramel and a perfect amount of alcohol. The finish has a very pleasant warming alcoholic feel, with a lovely everlasting citric crispiness. The body is full, the texture is oily to syrupy and the carbonation is soft. A very successful DIPA!

Big foaming head on a hazy dark golden body. Some grapefruity aroma, some pine, some pineapple. Nice caramel body, lots of booze, some pine and citrus, but lots of bitterness. At 13% this is actually a really nice sipper. It’s not DFH120, it’s a much different beer, but its actually very drinkable.

Pours a deep orange, hazy body with an inch of thick, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is mostly pine and resin but with a solid caramel backbone. Loads of caramel in the taste also, some toffee and hints of citrus. Viscous and full bodied with medium carbonation.
