English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a decent creamy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is caramel, roasty malt with a hint of sour fruit. Rich malty sweetness, caramel flavor, brown sugar, almost syrupy sweetness. Heavy sweet, light bitter, oily to sticky feel, full body, average carbonation, and a lightly bitter medium to heavy sweet finish. No hint of alcohol.

Amber color, off-white head. Caramel malt nose, floral and fruity notes, peach, yeast, hint of tobacco. Caramel taste, resin, citrus, raisins, grass, alcohol, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, warming alcohol.

On tap at 10 East - If I typed "overly-sweet" 100 times would that count as a review? Because this was a huge sugar malt bomb that would be better sold as a barleywine or a strong ale. But an IIPA? Where did the hops go? Did they get candied? Heavy sugar/fruit malts, harsh alcohol and more sugary malts. The finish is a bit bitter, but the cloying nature of the beeer only enforces the fact that this is a train-wreck.

Clear yellowish orange pour with a head that lasted all of 5 seconds. Loads of resiny hops and booze in the nose with some light fruit thrown in. Assaulted with the first sip. Tons of hops and pine notes. Slightly boozy and I’m pretty sure my body temp has risen a few degrees. This is definitely a meal beer.

From a bottle. Pours deep orange with minimal head, complex fruity aroma, slightly warming with a mild spice finish, no hint of the massive alcohol content. Great job.

Bottle, 355ml. An amber beer with a big foamy white head and lots of sediments. It has a deep floral aroma with grapefruit, citrics, pinewood and hops. Taste is very bitter with some carbonation and a lot of astringency. Heavy hoppy character, but overall well-balanced, especially considering its high ABV. Rich, complex and full with hops. One of the best imperial IPAs I have ever tasted.

Bottle, 355ml. Clear orange/amber with loads of sediment and a frothy tan head. Musky aroma of quality liqueur with hints of citrus, caramel and alcohol. Robust and heavy with a considerable bitterness and a strong astringency and alcohol aftertaste. Extremely heavy, yet it couldn’t be more drinkable. Magnificent.
