Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Clear light orange with small white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grapefruit hops, strong malt backbone, and bitter finish.

The aroma is full of hops, dried fruits, caramel, sugar, apricot and prunes. Very reminiscent of barley wine, probably because of the high alcohol percentage. The color is dark caramel. The taste is full of hops, dried fruits, sugar and caramel. The alcohol is very present but I don’t mind. Nice beer!

UPDATED: APR 17, 2016 An amber full-bodied ale, with a hop and yeast aroma. Nothing particular for a DIPA. Overwhelming pungent flavour of hops and alcohol, and a very sweet and very bitter taste. Bottom line: the first few sips are good, but the more-is-more over the top approach completely ruins any semblance of balance, and the sweetness and alcohol soon become cloying. Of course, I doubt balance was ever taken into consideration when this recipe was put together, but I just want to point out that you may not enjoy more than 5 cl of this.

Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2016 Whoa wtf, 13% ABV... Let?s See. Poured into Spiegelau IPA Glass, hazy orange color and intense white head, lot’s of Sediment in the bottle. Intense nose of aromatic hops lots of pine slight citrus and a whole lot of resin. Mouthfeel is thick and carbonation is Medium. The alcohol is well hidden, but with 13% ABV you can clearly tell that this is gonna hit you hard. Nice residual hops... Well good but a bit to hot for me...

A- Pine, hoppy, bitter, papaya, mango, rubber.
A- Burnt orange color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Bitter, mango, stone fruit.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, aggressive finish.
O- While I have been growing a bit more fond of ipas, ones like this just take me back to the start. Very aggressive and bitter. Not much in here I liked. No mas por favor.
