COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

On tap. Pours a brilliant amber gold. Thin head, no lacing. Big fruity nose, sugars, hops. Huge alcohol hop attack, slightly sweet. Long overripe fruit finish.

Golden yellow color with some appreciable white head. Decent lacing. Super crazy grapefruit and estery fruitiness. Super grapefruit taste as well. Nice malt backbone to support the rediculous hop profile, but it comes off a bit boozey. Heavily carbonated and nice medium body too. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. This definitely grew on me over the last few bottles.

Bottle. Slightly copper tinted amber body. There is a thin, light khaki head. The nose is candy sweet with some notes of grapefruit and caramel. Almonds are also present. This tastes incredibly sweet with tons of straight up sugar and black tea notes. A small bit of almonds are in the back end, but it can’t balance out this sugar bomb. A boozy hot mess. Pretty gross.

Draft in a sampler at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a semi-cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of sweet and caramel malts, pine, honey, grass, sugars- a lot of resinous sweetness. Flavor of sweet malts, honey, sugar, resin, nectar, and dried apricots and golden raisins. Medium-full bodied, with moderate carbonation and a chewy, sweet mouthfeel. Sweet and big.

Pours orange with a thick head. Lots of fruit, lots of hops. This is a flavor explosion and the alcohol is potent.

Tap. The beer was a creamy malt laden fruity hop bomb. It was pretty bitter, and way higher in ABV than I had expected.

Pours a hazy orange with a thin, off-white head. Big, resinous hop aroma alongside some citrus candy sweetness. Flavor packs an upfront hop punch (mostly citrus), quickly followed by some syrupy sweetness. Finish is bittersweet in an odd way. It’s almost as if some additional flavorings have been added to cover the booze, in addition to an already massive hop and malt bill. Very hoppy, malty and sweet but not cloying, and no overwhelming booze presence...but a little too syrupy for my taste.
