English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

A dark amber color with a bit of white head. Strong pine aroma with a touch of grapefruit. Alcohol is well hidden. Full mouth feel. Taste is a great mix of sweet caramel from malt and bitter earth pine nuts from the hops. A very impressive well balanced brew!

Aroma of lots of pine and citrus. Taste is pine and citrus, a punch of alcohol, tons of bitterness and rather dry. Great one to try.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are citrus, caramel, pine, and resin - with a bitter finish. ABV is pretty well hidden.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique December 2013. An explosion off goodness in your mouth that leaves you feeling dazed and confused, Molotov cocktail indeed.

A dark orange beer with a medium and blond head. The nose is strongly malty, caramell, rainy pine forest, some fruits, peaches. Taste is strongly caramelly but also lots of bitterness to balance, alcohol can be noticed, peaches, pine needles. Full bodied, low carbonation, still nice to drink and not heavy at all. Simple but interesting monster DIPA. Good balance against the sweetness and bitterness and there are both of them a huge amount. Surprisingly easy to drink.

Good head and aroma. Malty floral hop smell up front with some bitter undertones. The alcohol is hidden well for being 13%. I would drink again.

Oklar, djup orange med ett ljust skum. Doft: Humle, blommor, kåda, frukt kola, väl sockrat te. Smak: Humle, frukt kola, barr, sött svart te, sockrat citrus skal.

Draught at Craft, Clerkenwell on 29 December 2012. Poured a clear copper colour, with a dense white head. Big fruity hop aroma of grapefruit, orange and pineapple. Sweet flavours of caramel, syrup and biscuity malt, mixed with some more fruits. Finish was chewy grain, toffee and warming booziness.

Orange to amber bodied, cleaner than I expected. Strong sweetness, powerful malt base, caramel, concentrated. Even a small sip will burst into aromatic goodness on your tongue. Sweet, barley wine like, yet enough hops too. Dangerously well hidden alcohol. (33cl bottle shared with Flavia, from Bière comme à la bière)

Pours a hazy pale gold with thick white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet Walla Walls onions with a little garlic, a little sweet malts, and noticeable booze. To be honest, if a pizza arrived and smelled like this, it would be a good thing. The taste starts out with just more sweet onion, but I think this results as a combination of the huge malt bill required for this insanely high ABV, matched with an attempt to balance with bitter, drying hops. The malts win in the sense that this stays mouth-coating and sticky, and the hops give it their best with a moderate drying bitterness. Strong and boozy overall, and in the end it’s not much more than a liquid onion. Taste on its own is not great, but it’s an interesting venture outside the box.
