English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

Crazy beer for hopjuice lovers, strongly hopped, lot’s of tropical fruits, full thick bittersweet hoppy flavor. Nice punch.

In the bottle. Very hard to drink beer, don’t drink it alone ever. Wish it has less unhidden alcohol, at least. But in general, this beer can be described be two words - "Too much". Of everything...

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light corky notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with alcohol warmth, nice floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. On tap at Evergreen.

Pours hazy orange with not much head. Thick, oily, fruity and boozy. pretty good apart from the in your face alcohol taste which is a bit unpleasant... I think this has been turned up just a notch too far.

Hazy golden, with a foamy off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with faint floral notes. Taste is sweet, with citrus flavours. Full bodied, thick and oily texture. Warm and boozy. Soft carbonation, finishes lingering, floral. Intense, but enjoyable.

Hazy orange, with a very small white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste gets the alcohol strongly, grapefruit, marmelade, hops. Medium bitter, boozy, medium bodied and with low carbonation. Great, and strong, ale!

On tap at The Reservoir, Waterbury, VT. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a burnt hazy ruddy off to dark orange almost brown color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Lacing was here and there. The smell starts off with some sweet blueberry. Light citrus and tropical fruits slide in underneath to keep it fairly sweet. Bitterness seems a bit lower. And just as I suspected, the flavor has the bitterness is pretty low as well. The rest is pretty much the same as the aroma with a little bit of creamy almost vanilla and a sly little bit of breadiness. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decent sipping feel about it. Carbonation felt good with a nice blueberry creaminess smoothing out on my tongue. Overall, okay, I get it now, I think. Yeah, I’m pretty sure this is only my second DIPA I’ve ever had that I actually get the "smooth to creamy" feature on my tongue. It felt great. I’d have this again.

(old) Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar... No date on the bottle but this is probably not fresh. Aroma: huge biscuit malt aroma, caramel and some really far hints of citrus. App: hazy copper, medium white head, great lacing. Lots of hops in suspension even though this bottle has been in the fridge for a week and hasn’t been shacked since then. Taste and palate: the mouth is much better and a tad more fruity. This is resinous, really big, light to medium sweetness, the finish is fruity alcohol warming and slightly bitter. Overall: didn’t enjoy much the nose. Like that it:d more fruity in mouth and that it’s strong which makes it stand out. Additional point given for the originality.

Dark orange beer, minimal white head. A lot of stuff floating inside. Aroma: Citrus, some resin, sweet orange, persimmon fruit, caramely syrup, minimal alcoholy note taste: huge sweet, big bitter, with caramely syrup, very sweet tropical fruits, and grapefruity- resiny bitter. Palate: full body, sticky, thick, alcohol strongly warming up but not present in taste. Overall: Heavy, agressive, tasty, altough not particularly fresh (bottled on 211.15, so it has almost half of year). At this point in time hops are not that present. I wish to try it fresher.

Appropriate name actually, as this is an assault on your palette. As the name implies, it’s a boozy, heavy, oily...the viscosity is like a medium weight oil. Not quite cough syrup, but close.
