4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
from Erzbierschof - pours a cloudy dark orange beer under a long lasting white foam; hoppy aroma of cream, marzipan, honey and apricots; full-bodied, sticky palate with some astringency; pretty effervescent and tasty; hugely bitter and pretty dry; long fruity hoppy finish with a never ending bitterness

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The hoppiest beer Iíve ever had, and Iíve had my share. The bitterness is well balanced by the malt sweetness and the high alcohol is well done, warming finish but not harsh. Delicious but too intense in flavor for a whole bottle for one person. Share with friends.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle. Pours hazy, and the colour of honey with a thin off-white head. Smells like a glorious IPA candy. Lemon, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mild resinous notes, and a light raspberry jam note. Wow. Sweet underneath, with more huge citrus notes, grapefruit, resinous pine, caramel and that leads into some malt notes, bitterness, and some nice lemon candy notes in the finish. This is like the ice wine of IPAís, and honestly, I kind of love it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355 ml. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Light amber colour with a golden tint and a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with rich caramel malts, citrus, peach, grape and booze. The booze is somewhat restrained by the rich malt bill. Some syrup. Rather rich. Taste is bitter. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and rather bitter with rich malts, lots of herbal and citrus hops. Some booze. Big, fat, vulgar and over the top. To much of a good thing?

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 355ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, small white head, hops and alcohol in the nose. Pleasant or not...not sure. Sweet malty, citrusy hoppy, heavy alcoholic and light fruity with quite bitter finish. All in all alcohol rulles here. Expected better beer.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Great appearance and nose, very hoppy, fruity with hints if malt. But I really thought this one was waaay too sweet. Itís always a problem for me with very strong beers, I donít get why they always add so much sugar. Itís adding a nice bitterness and kind of ruins it for me.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sediments in a orange colored otherwise clear beer. The smell promises hops (who would have guessed). The taste is insanely sweet which covers the amount of bitterness to a reasonable dose. Nevertheless, this beer is seriously strong. The viscosity is insanely though.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange color with small white head. Huge sedimenta. Aroma is honey, toffee, hints at a big malt backbone. Pines. The hops blend in there well. Taste is honey, sweet, but also very bitter, a root bitterness, almost medicinal, resinous. Warming boozy finish. For this ABV the booziness is surprisingly low, but the warming bitterness cannot be hidden. Smooth carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. A huge beer with a huge punch.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma - dank smell, very good.
Appearance - must be bottle conditioned because the pour is cloudy and full of sediment. I need to make sure I donít pour the entire bottle.
Taste - medium mouth feel, with a huge bite at the end of the tongue, which I like.
Overall - I has hesitant with it being such a big beer, but this is very solid.
