COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

from Erzbierschof - pours a cloudy dark orange beer under a long lasting white foam; hoppy aroma of cream, marzipan, honey and apricots; full-bodied, sticky palate with some astringency; pretty effervescent and tasty; hugely bitter and pretty dry; long fruity hoppy finish with a never ending bitterness

Orange to amber bodied, cleaner than I expected. Strong sweetness, powerful malt base, caramel, concentrated. Even a small sip will burst into aromatic goodness on your tongue. Sweet, barley wine like, yet enough hops too. Dangerously well hidden alcohol. (33cl bottle shared with Flavia, from Bičre comme ŕ la bičre)

Pours a hazy pale gold with thick white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet Walla Walls onions with a little garlic, a little sweet malts, and noticeable booze. To be honest, if a pizza arrived and smelled like this, it would be a good thing. The taste starts out with just more sweet onion, but I think this results as a combination of the huge malt bill required for this insanely high ABV, matched with an attempt to balance with bitter, drying hops. The malts win in the sense that this stays mouth-coating and sticky, and the hops give it their best with a moderate drying bitterness. Strong and boozy overall, and in the end it’s not much more than a liquid onion. Taste on its own is not great, but it’s an interesting venture outside the box.

Ripe, fruity smell. There’s an intense, resinous body full of light brown sugar that gets walloped, as promised, by a numbing quantity of hops. A bit too much for me.

0,33L bottle. Pours amber with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, tropical fruits, caramel, and strawberries. Taste is sweet, strawberries, pine, caramel, some bitterness and alcohol. Finish is long pine bitter. Overall: great brew.

Strong & sweet with plenty of hops to balance it off. Caramel, pine & wood flow over the tongue. Despite the intense taste, this beer does not taste like 13%. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle. Pours murky orange with thin white head that dissipates. Mild carbonation and hop aroma. Much more of a hop forward flavor than the aroma would indicate. Some complexity with cherry pine flavor. A bit boozy. Reminds me of dfh120. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at BrewDog Dundee. Pours copper with a nice creamy white head. Body was thick and full. Smells of fruit and a malty sweetness. Tastes, well amazing. So complex, fruity, sweet, and even citus. I was blown away!

(bottle - 12 oz) Copper pour with a thin white head. Big citrus aroma with some very light hops underneath. Big malt bomb flavor with almost no bitterness whatsoever. Lots of citrus.

Nice clear amber pour with a white head. Big hops and a big malt character. Reminiscent of a hoppy barley wine, but somehow more drinkable. Alcohol is hardly noticeable. Really nice.
