COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

11.2 oz bottle into a Schlafly snifter. Pours a hazy orange with a one finger creamy head. Quite a bit of lacing sticking to sides of the glass. Citrus, herbal, and piney hop aromas. Plenty of caramel and bready malt aromas swirling around. Smells a bit on the sweet side. This beer punches you right in the face. Christ. Quick bite of piney hop bitterness, followed by more sweeter orange and grapefruit notes before having a more herbal aftertaste. Some dry bready malts really thicken this thing up. Quite the malty backbone. The beer is a little bit of a mess and kind of un-balanced. But I enjoy the flavor. It’s thick and full bodied. Prickly carbonation and bit on the sweeter side, of course, still plenty of bitterness pulling through. I’d say it drinks more like a barleywine rather than an DIPA. Has a bit of a kick. At 13% this beer lives up to it’s name. Noticeable heat.

Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, orange zest, light yeast and light pine. Palate was medium bodiued and smooth with a dry warming finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, orange zest, light grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry warming lingering bitter finish.

Bottled. The aroma has alcohol, oranges, caramel malts, some grapefruits, some dried fruitiness. Clear, copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is a bit sweet with evolving strong bitterness, caramel malts, strong fruitiness, alcohol, some spices. Very strong and full bodied.

Bottle from RR St. Tavern. Pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger off-white creamy head. Looks great. Nose is big poineapple, tangerine, resiny peppery hops. Tastes rich, creamy, somewhat hot, with a complex palate, and flavors of papaya, mango, black peppery hops, and a heavy syrupy malt flavor that gets hotter as it warms. This one is a true car bomb.

Bottle, tfs vaiz! Aroma is huge hops, big mix with pine(apple) and other fruits dominating. Flavour is insane hop madness, quite chaotic but not in a bad way somehow. Quite bitter, followed by a fitting malt sweetness. Alcohol dangerously well hidden. Crazy stuff.

Bottle. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma full of hops, some citrus, grapefruit and pine. Very strong bitter hop flavor and huge body. Heavy stuff but still very well drinkable. Nice.
