English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

33 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet CC Vest. Pours hazy amber with a medium offwhite head that leaves a small lacing. Strong aroma of pine and grape. Taste is well balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Some alcohol warmness. The strength of this one is very vell hidden ! Cool stuff

Aroma is pine, grapefruit, floral. Appearance is dark golden, white head. Taste is pine, tropical fruit, malt, floral. Mouthfeel is thick, great carbonation and easy drinking for the alcohol. Overall, a little malty but very good.

Sharp, burnt vegetable hop aroma followed by caramel liqueur malt aroma. Opaque amber color, no head and very still. Like many massive IPA’s, I found it to be very sweet. It is also bitter, but in the way bitter chocolate is. Very cloying as well, softer body although very weighty. A great indulgence for Sunday afternoons but should be avoided for Friday nights...

Bottle. Pours out a darker copper color with a small off white head. Aroma is of some bitter citrus rind, light pine sap, bready malt and light drying alcohol. Taste is complex, a big punch of bitter, oily hooshops, grapefruit, citrus meat, light pine sap, oily resin, light warming alcohol, but for the abv not that much in your face alcohol.

(Back log reminder) Bottle gift from S.J. Nice notes of pink grapefruit, mango, caramel malt, zest, pine, hop and peel. Well blended for a high alc%. Nice bite to the finish.

Caña en el Lupulo en varias ocasiones en 2013. (r670). Botella 33 cl en llamas agosto 2014. Una auténtica dosis de lupulo con gran sensación alcoholica. Imperial ipa descomunal.

Poured from the 4-pack of bottles, chunky dark amber, smells like a lot of hops. The smell is deceiving however, because the taste is sweet upfront with the hops and bitter coming in afterword with some boozy and a little wine. The commercial boast of this beer being crazy is spot on, crazy strong. This is a beer for one of those days when I’m feeling like I want the buzz of a strong 6-pack, but I only want to drink 3, done & done.

Bottle at home. Cloudy, light orange colour topped by a creamy offwhite head. Orange zesty hop profile, intensely bitter, aggregated by the (to) high alcohol grade and sweet malty base. Finish is bitter orange, lingering. Big body, low carbonation, oily mouthfeel.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and some tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit – citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel and light tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, some caramel and light tropical fruitiness with grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness, some alcohol. Caramel sweetish DIPA .Too much alcohol considering the body. Despite of bitterness this one is way too sweet for me.

A sweet and barly like sensation hits you In the face when you first taste this beer. A sticky and pungent hop bittwrness follows. All in All it makes up for an interesting beer. Fun to try, but probably not your new favourite.

Clear amber body, offwhite head. Aroma has strong intense hoppiness, mango, grapefruit and some soapy exotic fruits. Flavour has clear bitterness, har but not harsh. Alcohol is there, but not taking over. Nice one.
