3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 PhillyCraft (1984) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Tap at Borefts. Kind of a hazy orange pour with slowly dissipating head and lacing. Aromas and taste are mesmerizing with ripe mango, pinepple, orange peel, and passionfruit coming thorugh, Other notes of candy sugar, grapefruit, light malt, and grass. I could drink loads of this ipa/fruit beer hybrid.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Benzai (4349) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Draught @ Borefts 12. Slightly hazy orange color with a couple of tiny floaties in it. Small sized, virtually non-lacing, mostly diminishing white head. Smell lightly malts, toasted malts, fruits, lightly yeasty and a bit alcoholic. Taste is heavily sweet, overripe fruits. Finish is moderate to heavy sweet as well. Not a too succesfull experiment if you ask me. Too sweet. Syrupy, sticky texture, medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Borefts ’12. Hazy orange to copper colour with a small off-white head. Smells hops, grapefruit and some hay. A typical imperial IPA smell if you ask me. Tastes sweet, bitter, hoppy and fruity - again very typical imperial IPA. Full body, low carbo.

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Canned fruit mix in the aroma and initially in the flavor. After a while a firm grassy hopbityterness comes up, and lingers on in the aftertaste.
