Euston Tap. Keg.Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is soft and smooth with fine carbonation. Creamy malt, touch of grain. Light peppery spice. Super mild citrus. There is a mild dusty streak that stops the beer from being really clean. Smooth finish, semi dry with a mild bitter linger. 3.4

Bit of age has helped this one. The malt is no longer grainy or dusty, just smooth and lightly creamy. Nice marmalade bitterness than runs well in to the aftertaste. A floral fruity thing going on underneath. The finish is medium dry. Yeah - all round better!

Cloudy dark blond color with creamy head. Mild aroma of apples and very light yeast, this is not a good sign. Dry mouthfeel, overcarbonated (it also took a while to pour indeed), flavor dominated by a Belgian style spicy yeast; it has some astringency from the yeast, light residual sugar in the final; the bitterness level is very high, but well blended together; some sweaty hop character and some hop resins. Long final, where also the yeast participates boldly.
I can’t imagine this one to be paired with delicate food, but to each his own.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, golden orange body, lots of floaties. Off-white head of moderate size. Sugary, fruity aroma of the Belgian style, lightly spiced. Some spices in the else sweet and fruity flavor. Quite bitter. Medium body, dry and softly carbonated. Lasting finish with a fine bitterness. A pleasant one indeed, although I struggle to see how it will match nomas food. 131116
