Aroma of citrusy hops and a tough to place sourness. I guess that’s the oxalis? Faint malt aroma. Honey coloured and cloudy with sturdy white head. Taste of pale malt quickly gives way to strong hop cities hop flavour and eventually bitterness. A subtle sour note runs through from from beginning to end. For something named Oxalis I was expecting more punch from that ingredient, but this is still a good beer.

Euston Tap. Keg.Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is soft and smooth with fine carbonation. Creamy malt, touch of grain. Light peppery spice. Super mild citrus. There is a mild dusty streak that stops the beer from being really clean. Smooth finish, semi dry with a mild bitter linger. 3.4

Bit of age has helped this one. The malt is no longer grainy or dusty, just smooth and lightly creamy. Nice marmalade bitterness than runs well in to the aftertaste. A floral fruity thing going on underneath. The finish is medium dry. Yeah - all round better!

Tap at Craft Clerkenwell. Slightly cloudy golden orange colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, fruity and herbal. Something quite floral and citrusy. Almost a bit solvent like. Taste herbal, fruity, little bit milky! That solvent citrus again. Pretty good, but not so excited about the special ingredient. Like the milkiness though as it is a bit different.
