COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nomads; constantly moving, ’round and ’round; sometimes settle, if just for a bit. Perhaps the muse moves one to brew a sharp and clean session beer, one inspired by the Berliner-weisse of old, and the nomad rests. Enjoy this beer, here, there, perhaps north of Madison Square Park, in lovely New York City. Wherever you are, this beer was made nice, simply for you.

A canned Berliner Weisse, huh? Pretty cool idea. Date stamp says 11/21/14. Pours out an opaque golden with a white head that runs away immediately. Pretty mouth-watering on the aroma. Funky, some leather, earthy aroma. Very tart on the tongue, kinda like biting a lemon, but not unpleasant at all. Light, good carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Aggresive berliner reminiscent of a westbrook gose without the mild mineral salt and with a ramped up tartness. Aroma is lemon, light funk, cracker malts. Taste is abrasive tartness like a sour patch kid dust handful.

Super hazy, straw yellow coloured body with a very fast-dying white head. Aroma of pure sour, musty, wheatie and yeastie notes with some lemons, wheat, hay, grass and sour yeast of course. Light-bodied; Super easy to drink, pale wheat flavour with a sour yeast and lemon note, all with not much sugar and no pungency on the finish. Aftertaste is one-dimensional, only showing the sour yeastie flavours with touches of yeast and almost nothing else - which is good and bad at the same time. Overall, a very easy-drinking, simplistic berliner weisse with no real complexity or depth. Kind of reminds me of being in Berlin, but usually those have a fair amount more flavour, and are just as easy to drink, plus have some nice fruit syrups to mix in - and that straw! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Fairfax, Virginia on 15-November-2014 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 12-February-2015 a few hours before leaving back for New York to get more from the brewery.
