Nomads; constantly moving, íround and íround; sometimes settle, if just for a bit. Perhaps the muse moves one to brew a sharp and clean session beer, one inspired by the Berliner-weisse of old, and the nomad rests. Enjoy this beer, here, there, perhaps north of Madison Square Park, in lovely New York City. Wherever you are, this beer was made nice, simply for you.

Pours hazy golden with a thick eggshell head. Strong aroma has yeasty and sharp sour fruity notes with a malty undertone. Flavor is - whoa, rather sour, fruity, yeasty, a little malty. Mouthfeel is not thick, but fizzy and sassy, leaving a sour fruity finish. Enjoy after a day of wandering.

Can. Cloudy bright golden yellow color, thick creamy white head. Aroma of sour peach, lemon, sourdough bread. Taste has a long, soft sourness start to finish, earthy lemon, summer fruit. Easily the best canned berliner weisse Iíve ever had.

Can - Pours golden with a ring of white head. Nose is white grape, lightly tart wheat, and a little touch of lemon. Taste is pungent vinegar tartness, lemon, white grape, and yogurt on the finish. Well-carbonated and thin.

12 oz. can supplied by WillRunForBeer - many thanks! To long-stemmed white wine glass, it pours a murky effervescent straw yellow. No detectable head. Aromas of generic sourness, unripe grapefruit, flaked wheat, lime syrup, and wet newspaper. Tastes the same with the addition of moderate diacetyl, aged hops, sea salt, and sweat. I feel that this would improve tenfold if there had been more of a cohesive wheat character. Itís really sour, a bit tart, and easily drinkable. Lackluster in flavor through and through.

Sixer cans from Savor Growl. Murky yellow pour with a head that disappeared so quickly I didnít catch the color. Aroma is sour salty funky, yeast, hay, lemon. Tastes are nice salty straw, lemon, grain, tart, peach, apple, musty, acidic. Love all these canned salty goses and berliners out now.

12 oz can. Pours a hazed golden with a brief fizzy head. Apple aroma, sour citric and acetic. Medium flavor, nice mix of citric and lactic acidity, some lemony fruitiness and some wheat. Light, but flavorful. Pretty good.

can. It pours an orange color with an off white head. The aroma is fruity with peaches and lemon. Tart fruit candy and a little bread. The flavor has a nice, pleasant tartness and a big body for the style. Mild sour mash lactic funk. Peachy, stone fruit finish. Strange for a Berliner Weisse but pretty enjoyable.
